Trailing 19-15 after the first quarter, Newark took the lead in the second quarter and never lost it again. Jahonen Allen finished with 24 points, while Jaypar Allen had 16. Eric Finn added a dozen points, while Kellen Foster and Terrell Jenkins both scored 10 points. Other scorers for Newark: Sam Underhill (6), Carlos Martinez (5), and Lindsay Miller (3). Kyle Kumkey gave Midlakes a 28-point effort to lead the team in scoring. Ryan D’Arudini turned in 14 points, six rebounds, and three assists. James Dorsey scored 13, made two assists, and added three rebounds. Harlan Novy-Marx finished with 10 points alongside eight rebounds and three assists. Dorsey deflected nine passes, Novy-Marx eight, and D’Arudini seven. Landon Washburn led Honeoye in scoring with 17 points. Owen Cuba had eight points.

Louie Contie led the Kendall offense with 15 points.
