Sophomore Talhah Ali scored 11 of his 20 total points in the first quarter to help Vertus to an early 15-12 lead. Although Batavia briefly took a 37-35 lead after three quarters, the Warriors responded with a 24-2 fourth quarter to give them the 20-point win, with senior Reggie Pough notching eight of his 14 points during the run. Junior Dah’mere Brown also had 14 points on the night, while Nelson Wade added seven. Bran Holloway rounded out scoring for the Warriors with four points, including a three pointer in Vertus’ 24-2 fourth quarter. Carter Mullen led Batavia with 11 points, including seven in the third quarter. Estavon Lovett had eight points, Aidan Bellavia and Gavin White both had seven, and Justin Smith notched six.

Senior Macoy Putnam scored 10 of his game-high 27 points in the fourth quarter, spurring Avoca-Prattsburgh to a comeback win. The Titans trailed 57-49 going into the final quarter of the game but outscored Gananda 25-10 in the last eight minutes. Junior Daniel Stilson had 21 points for Avoca, while freshman JJ Crowder notched 15. Senior Collin Hammond and freshman Carter Button rounded out scoring for the Titans with six and five points, respectively. Senior Miles Caviness led Gananda with 24 points, followed by Hunter Vogt with 13. Freshman Cooper Grassel had 12 points, all on three-pointers in the third quarter. Brayden Dohse and Owen Switzer had seven and five points, respectively. Aidan Giancursio, Erik Wisnoski, and Braeden Calviness had two points each.

Geneseo took a 23-21 lead in the second quarter and never relinquished it, despite a fourth quarter comeback by Letchworth that included five three-pointers. Kellen O’Brien had 19 points and made six free throws, including two in the last seconds of the game to extend the Geneseo lead to three. Letchworth attempted a three-pointer at the buzzer in an attempt to tie, but the shot missed to give Geneseo the win. Jackson Willis led Geneseo with a 21-point performance on the night, adding seven rebounds and five assists. Avery Helper had 12 points including four three-pointers, while Caleb Rice had seven points and five rebounds. Billy McMaster (two points) and Oren Ray (one point) rounded out the scoring. Quinn Baker led Letchworth in scoring with 19 points, including five three-pointers. Jake Stowell had 18 points and nine rebounds, while Isaac Hansen notched eight points and five rebounds. Adam Webster (six points), Lucas Stowell (five points), and Hayden Ayers (three points) also scored.

Ian Hinrich led Keshequa with 12 points, 10 rebounds, and six blocks. Owen Pike and Zach Smathers had 11 points each, while Aiden Upright and Brady Wood added six and two, respectively.
