Brady Gerig chipped in 12 for the Cadets and John Bianchi added 11 points. Tim Graziano (7), Andrew Lenhard (6), Jack Smith (3) and Shawn Cavey (2) also scored for Hilton. Michael Sardou and Jacob McGowan each scored 12 points to lead Churchville-Chili with McGowan adding three three-pointers. Deric Olson (4), Isaiah Mead-Jackson (4), Joshua Miner (2), Camden Bean (2), Talan Finnigan (2) and Lucas Karelus (1) rounded out the Saints’ efforts.

Nate Barone scored 12 of his game-high 19 in the first half as Canandaigua raced out to a 30-12 lead at the break. Joe Caito added nine in the first half and 11 points overall on the night. George Spinelli and Drew Williamee each posted nine points while Jaiden Pierce (6), Connor Chapman (2) and Nate Brinza (2) also chipped in for the Gray Wolves. Jalonie Pittman was the lone man in double digits for Eastridge with 17 points. Xavier Smith scored 17 points with 11 rebounds to power Greece Arcadia to its first win under coach Al Nash. The Titans took a 12-point lead into the fourth quarter and held off a late rally from Greece Olympia, who scored 21 points in the final quarter. Jakson Schweigert hit a pair of threes and scored 12 points with five boards while Lincoln Fling tallied 11 points, five assists and four steals. Jordan Roberson (6), Amir Brown (5), Drake Sapp (4) and Bryan Gabriel (2) all chipped in for the Titans. Olympia was led by a quartet in double figures; Terry Griffin Jr. (12), William Brown-Nelson (11), Caiden Evans (10 and Amare Edwards-Ferrell (10). Zyaire Rivera added six points for the Spartans while Connor Welker added a first-quarter bucket.

Myles Collins-Howard posted 21 points to lead Rush-Henrietta to its first win under head coach Calvin Betts. The Royal Comets rallied from a two-point halftime deficit for the win. Avery Council added 18 points, including 11 in the second half, grabbed 12 rebounds and posted three assists. Jalen Taggart also cracked double figures with 13 points, six rebounds and three assists. Kobey Weeks (9), Graylin Strong (8) and Ethan Dengler (4) scored the remaining points for Rush-Henrietta. Reginald Smith Jr. poured in a game-high 34 points to lead Brighton. Jayden Freeman chipped in with 10 points while Grady Hopkin (8), TJ Spence (6), Jack Snyder (4) and Aksel Stanat (2) rounded out the scoresheet for the Bruins.

Penfield jumped out to a double-digit lead in the first quarter, opening the game on a 13-2 run highlighted by a pair of threes by junior forward Patrick Emling. The Eagles responded and evened the game at 17 on the first possession of the second quarter. Seniors Quinn VanKerkhove and Isaiah Ballard, the two returning starters from last season’s state finalist team, scored 15 of the 17 points during that span. Khorie Reaves poured in 23 points in three-quarters of action to lead Greece Athena. The Trojans rolled early as they built a 68-36 lead entering the fourth quarter. I’zayah Reaves added 11 and I’zick Reaves posted 10. Zee Johnson also chipped in 10 points and Connor Osier added nine. Byron Williams (5), Travis Mack (4), Ne’Sean Fowlks (2) and Ryan Grasley (2) rounded out Athena’s efforts. Honeoye Falls-Lima was led by Wyatt Huff’s 11 points. Sam Jokl chipped in nine points for the Cougars while Quinn Kailbourne added eight. Conor Finn (6), Austyn Crego (6), Chase Perryman (4), Holden Kamm (4), Aidan Neenan (3) and Landon Hammond (2) all tallied buckets for HF-L.

Justin Smith tallied a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds as Batavia held off a late Brockport rally for a season-opening victory. Batavia controlled the battle of the Blue Devils early on, leading by as many as 15 in the second quarter. Brockport hit a pair of triples to cut the deficit down to nine at the break. Batavia responded building a lead as large as 18 in the third. Brockport rallied and got as close as three, trailing 48-45. Batavia answered with a 7-0 run and held on late. Carter Mullen scored a team-high 16 points for Batavia while Joey Marranco scored 10 points and dished out seven assists. Nathan Parker led Brockport with 18 points while Tyler Judd and Danny Dailey scored 15 apiece.

Micah Johnson led three in double digits to lead East. The Eagles blitzed out to a 28-7 lead in the first quarter with Johnson scoring 11 in the opening frame. He finished with 20 points in the game including four three-pointers. Keysean Leonard added 14 points while Markell Johnson scored 12 for East. Jayden Holmes and Zion Parson each tallied nine points in the win. Nahmier Pray (4), Velquez Dennis (4), Kamell Little (4) and Fenmi Koamasson (3) rounded out the scoring efforts. Desiah White scored a game-high 22 points to lead Wilson. KJ Moxley racked up 14 points while Fran Brown scored eight. Paris Brooken (4) and Ibra Hakizimana (1) chipped in for the Wildcats.

Jaiyden Jones posted 21 points and seven rebounds to lead McQuaid in a come-from-behind win. Trailing 33-22 at the break, Jones scored 15 of his 21 points in a 31-point third quarter by the Jesuit Knights. McQuaid took an eight-point edge to the final quarter before locking down the win. Lucas Wachter buried four threes en route to 14 points while Isaiah Anderson added 12 points for the Jesuit Knights. Ryan Woodard (9), Henry Fox (5), Andrew Gerenski (4) and Quinn Wilson (2) all chipped in to round off the McQuaid scoring. Davijon Lipscomb led Edison/SWW with 20 points. Jabric Larkins tallied 16 points and Jearney Higdon posted 11 points. Isaiah Wonneberg (8) and Javier Medina (5) also scored for the Inventors.

Mikey Briggs (5), Dez Bell (4), Braden Bookmiller (4), Jacob Bott (3), Connor Orlopp (3), Jamari Schuler (2) and Devyn Williams (2) all chipped in among the 12 Lions who scored on the night. Marion was led by 16 points from Austin Phillips and 12 points on four threes from Liam Phelps. Andrew White, Darius Brewington and Ethan Reesor added a basket each for the Black Knights.

Merritt Holly posted 31 points, four rebounds and three assists to lead Le Roy to a season-opening win. Holly scored 13 points in the third after Caledonia-Mumford cut the margin to three, extending the lead to 16 after three quarters. Jean Agosto added nine points, five boards and two assists while Aaric Luce drilled three threes. Matthew Hockey tallied five points five assists and three rebounds. Jake Higgins hit a pair of triples while Zander Staba scored six points. Adam Woodworth (5), Alex Spezzano (5) and Jude Sherman (2) tallied the remaining points for the Oaktan Knights. Donald Peet led a trio of double-digit scorers for Cal-Mum with 13. Braeden Fonte and Nathan Doll each posted 11 points. Tyler Potter (3) and Collin Foote (2) rounded out the Raiders’ efforts.

Trevor Stroud scored 23 points with six rebounds and four assists as Avon rallied from a six-point halftime deficit. The Braves outscored Pavilion 45-18 in the second half. Michael Rowland added a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds while Josh Harter filled the stat sheet with 11 points, assists and four rebounds. Kal Dolgos posted nine points and four rebounds while Ryan Hillman had seven boards and a basket for Avon. Pavilion was led by Landon Stoddard with 13 points and Case Cummins who scored 10.

Warsaw rallied from an eight-point deficit in the fourth quarter to pick up the win. The Tigers made a run to take a four-point edge early in the fourth. Mount Morris and Warsaw traded buckets before a 6-0 burst put the Blue Devils back in front by one. Quentin Librock responded with a triple to put Warsaw back up two with two minutes to play. The lead held at two until Chase Young nearly came up with a steal but was whistled for a foul. Librock ended up at the line and drilled two free throws to extend the lead to four with 10 seconds to play. Young scored a quick two with 2.5 seconds left. Warsaw appeared to throw the ball straight out of play on the ensuing inbounds but it was instead overturned and ruled a jump ball and the Tigers controlled with the possession arrow. The Tigers missed a pair of free throws with 0.9 seconds to play but Mount Morris was unable to get a shot away before time expired. Young finished with 22 points, 10 assists, four steals and four rebounds to lead the Blue Devils. Bryson Constantino buried five threes and scored 21 points while Anthony Hightower added 10 points and seven rebounds. Mason Santini and Owen Yencer each tallied seven points and Aidan Stanley posted two points and seven rebounds before exiting with a wrist injury in the fourth quarter.

Jake Pangrazio and Joe Bauer each scored 18 points as York remained unbeaten. The Golden Knights used a 23-5 second quarter to build a margin they’d never relinquish. Parker Bonafede added eight points in the win. Bryce Tallman scored 13 points while Wyatt Arbo added 11 for Perry. Tyler Harvey chipped in with nine points.

Jake Hagadone tallied 22 points, including 16 in the first half, to lead Haverling. Hagadone drilled 10-of-12 at the free throw stripe in the victory as the Rams shot 19-of-28 at the line as a team. Austin Durand posted 20 points with four three-pointers while Larry Duncan added 11. Bryce Jarboe (4) and Mike Binkowski (4) rounded out Haverling’s scoring. Zane Wheeler led Addison with 16 points. Jackson Nichols (7), Frank Heidrick (6), Tayzer Fenton (5), Joshua Held (5), Mike Sambrowski (3) and Francesco Rossi (2) also recorded baskets for the Knights.

Notre Dame Batavia used a 28-12 third quarter to win its season opener. Ryan Fitzpatrick led the way with 23 points including four triples while Jaden Sherwood added 11 points. Makyell Walker, Gabe Mileham, Chase Antinore, George Woodruff and Mavrik Hall each tallied six points in the win. Jay Antinore (5) and Ryan Macdonald Jr (2) rounded out the Irish’s scoring.

JJ Crowder scored 10 of his game-high 29 points in the second quarter when Avoca-Prattsburgh pulled away to take a lead that the Titans did not surrender. Crowder connected four times from the floor in the stanza including one of the ninth-grader’s five three-pointers on the night as A-P took a 33-17 lead into the locker room. Macoy Putnam and Dan Stilson added 10 points apiece in the win. Collin Hammond had nine points. Carter Button (6), Maddix Cartwright (2) and Landon White (2) rounded out the scoring for A-P. Sophomore James Ainsworth led Jasper-Troupsburg with 20 points. Landon Zver had 13 points. Jackson Hayes (7), Braylon Lawson (5), Jacob VanGorder (2) and Matthew Foster (2) also scored for J-T.
