Tuesday Girls’ Basketball Wrap: Bell’s 33 pace Lyons; Second quarter lifts Victor

Ashlyn Roberts finished with 18 points, leading Rush Henrietta. Alivia Day followed with 12 points of her own. Layla McLean scored four points and blocked eight shots alongside 14 rebounds.

Natalie Mai made seven shots from the floor, including two from beyond the arc and three free throws, as Pittsford Mendon went on a 19-5 run in the first quarter to pull away. Mai scored nine points in the frame, converting three jumpers inside the arc and one three-pointer. Kate Crowley scored six in the first quarter and finished with 12 points. Gabriela Esposito scored 10 points. Danielle Mooney made a pair of two-pointers in the first stanza and drained a three-pointer in the third. For Brockport, Hannah Carpenter made four field goals, including two three-pointers. Janelle Laureano sunk three two-pointers and two free throws. Mia Tyndell finished with six points.

Rhylin Fehrenbach finished with a game-high 31 points alongside four rebounds and four steals, as Victor put up 23 points in the second quarter to pull away on the road. Devin Livingston scored eight points for the Blue Devils. For Brighton, Sadie Scott led with 24 points.

Leora Cook led Pittsford Sutherland with 27 points. Eden Lewis grabbed 15 rebounds for the Knights. For Newark, Karina Natale scored a team-high 14 points and added four steals with three assists. TaKyla Vaughn finished with 11 points and grabbed nine boards. Naomi Jones added 10 points of her own.

Nevaeh Grisham scored 21 points and snagged six steals to lead East. Grisham converted nine shots from the floor and made three free throws. First-year Semaj Jackson recorded a 12-point, 12-rebound double-double in her first varsity game. Antwanette Coleman recorded all 10 of her points in the first quarter. Jiasia Norris and Ali’yana Johnson both made three jumpers inside the arc. For Franklin/Northeast, Chloe Jarvis led the scoresheet with eight points, including a pair of three-pointers and two made free throws. Daniela Cantero followed with seven points.

Jayla Bell uncorked 33 points, seven rebounds, seven assists and seven steals to lift Lyons. Milleniyah Glanton and Carmella Parker both contributed eight points. Glanton grabbed 12 rebounds alongside five steals and two assists, while Parker had five rebounds and three steals. Samantha Figueroa tallied seven points of her own. Figueroa dished out two assists and finished with two rebounds and two steals. Kyla Betts and Arey Carter both scored four points. For North Rose-Wolcott, AJ MacIntyre led the scoresheet with 15 points.

Emma Luckenbach made six shots inside the arc and seven charity stripe conversions, as Haverling went on a 28-14 run in the second half to pull away. Luckenbach also contributed seven rebounds and three assists. Lola Coots followed Luckenbach, scoring 15 points with six field goals, including one from beyond the arc and grabbing four rebounds. Madison Coots went 2-for-4 at the line and finished with seven points alongside five rebounds. Allison Elmore netted a pair of two-pointers and grabbed four boards. Sierra Haight dished out five assists. For Addison, Bregan Jones converted four field goals, including a pair of three-pointers. Caidyn Jones made two shots from beyond the arc. Kyliene Stierly recorded five points. Sadie Strauss finished with four points.

Kali Meyer scored 13 points while dishing out two assists and two steals to lead Dansville. Aynsley Belcher finished with a double-double, racking up 11 points and 10 rebounds. Emma Allen had seven points and 13 rebounds. Emma Butters and Taylor Hamsher both grabbed two boards and put up seven points. Hamsher also provided two assists. Chelsie Tyler scored six points and grabbed nine rebounds. Megan Tyler secured seven rebounds. For Canisteo-Greenwood, Bailey Mullen led the scoresheet with nine points and six rebounds alongside four steals. Paris May converted a three-pointer. Harlie McCaffery grabbed six boards.
