Micah Breedlove-Johnson scored 17 of his game-high 24 points in the first half as East took a 49-23 lead into the locker room. The junior guard connected on four 3-pointers during the first 16 minutes of action. Zion Parson added 19 points in the win, and Jayden Holmes had 14 in the win. Zymier Jackson and Kesean Leonard both contributed eight points for the Eagles. Eric Brock (6), Fenmi Koumassou (5), Markell Johnson (4), Kamell Little (4) and Jayveone Jackson (2) also scored in the win. Jaedon Adams-Griffin led World of Inquiry with 11 points on five field goals including one 3-pointer. Yacoub Tarawally (9), Markiest Griffin (7), Caleb Smith (5), Ja’Zaree Willis (5), Rory Rhone (4) and Justice Stubbs (3) also scored for the Griffins.

Eli Tanner scored 14 points, and Judah Tanner added 12 more to lead East Rochester. Noah Wollschleger and Danny Preston had eight points apiece in the win. Marlo Henry accounted for seven points.

Miles Caviness poured in 23 points to lead Gananda. The Blue Panthers built a 28-2 lead in the first quarter and every player who took the floor scored in the game for Gananda. Aidan Giancursio chipped in 12 points while Justin Simpson and Owen Switzer scored nine points each. Hunter Vogt and Coper Grassel added eight points each while Henry Shutts and Brayden Dohse scored six points apiece. Erik Wisnoski and Braeden Caviness rounded out the scoring for Gananda with four and two points respectively. Liam Phelps led Marion with 17 points and Austin Phillips was also in double figures with 12 points. Darius Brewington added seven points while Ethan Reesor added a point.

Campbell Mucher scored 21 to lead Fillmore to a win in the opening round of the Kiwanis Tip-Off Tournament. Zach Sisson added 17 points for the Eagles while Jonah Bialek chipped in nine. Warsaw was led by Ty Joy and Quinton Librock with 14 points each. Patrick Klump was close behind with 13 points. Fillmore will play the winner of Pavilion vs. Byron-Bergen on Saturday at 7:00.

Jake Pangrazio connected four times from behind the 3-point arc and finished with a game-high 17 to lead York which jumped to a 48-15 lead at the half. Joe Bauer added 16 points in the win, and Tyler Brady had 12. Parker Bonafede and Liam Ezard scored eight apiece in the win. Hunter Trischller led Wayland-Cohocton with 14 points. Matthew Clark had nine points.
“We took a step forward tonight,” said York head coach Ed Orman, Jr. “Our defensive talk was a bit better than in scrimmages. This group is so unselfish and it was fun to watch them move the ball. We have a long ways to go, but it was a nice start.”
First-year Wayland-Cohocton head coach Brandon Davis played for Orman at York.

Jim Ainsworth stuffed the stat sheet with 10 points, 10 rebounds, five steals and five assists to lead Jasper-Troupsburg. Landon Zver followed suit with 11 points, four rebounds, four assists and two steals in the win. Zach Baker posted a game-high 18 points to go with nine rebounds. Jackson Hayes had nine points. Matt Foster (5), Jacoby VanGorden (2) and Braylon Lawson (2) rounded out the scoring for J-T. Ethan Akins led Campbell-Savona with 14 points. Ethan Soles had 10. Flint Black (8) and Jackson Kibler (3) also scored for the Panthers.
