How they arrived here: Geneseo earned a bye through the pre-quarterfinals before a 4-0 victory over No. 10 Caledonia-Mumford in the quarterfinals. The Blue Devils knocked off No. 6 Kendall 3-1 in the semifinals to make the finals. Cuba-Rushford/Hinsdale defeated No. 12 Gananda 5-1 then battled past No. 4 Keshequa 1-0. They defeated No. 8 Bolivar-Richburg 1-0 to enter the championship round.

History 101: Geneseo is seeking its 10th sectional title in program history and first since 2018. The Blue Devils fell in the semifinals last season after finishing as the Class C2 runner-up the previous two seasons. Cuba-Rushford and Hinsdale will look to win the first sectional title and either program’s history.
What’s next: The winner of this matchup will face either East Rochester or Byron-Bergen/Elba in the Class C regional qualifier.
