After Aquinas scored with no time remaining to make it a one-point game with the point-after-try to come, the McQuaid defense held and knocked away a Trent Buttles pass attempt on the two-point conversion try to hang on for the win. Trailing 7-0 at halftime, McQuaid got a third-quarter six-yard touchdown run by John Harding to tie the game at seven. Allen Nesmith then found the endzone from two yards out to give McQuaid the lead with about five minutes left in the 4th quarter. Buttles was 9/14 with 157 yards and two touchdowns for Aquinas, including the game-tying connection with Thomas Levins. Levins finished with three catches for 34 yards. Noah Collins-Howard turned three receptions into 103 yards and a score. Derrion Battle ran the ball 13 times for 49 yards, while Tano Auriuso got 12 carries for 50 yards. Auriuso also contributed eight tackles on defense. Quante Gillians turned in two sacks and finished with four total tackles. Lucas Leone added a dozen tackles, and Trent Hill had seven.

Kyle Wetterings had 11 carries for 174 yards, one of which being a 59-yard scamper to the endzone as Livonia earned their second win of the year. His brother, Owen Wetterings, ran the ball eight times for 149 yards with two touchdown runs, one from 19 and and the other 25 yards out. Jackson Trubia added two rushing touchdowns as well, both of which coming on the goal line. Seth Eady had two interceptions on defense, including one that was returned 29 yards for a pick-six. Zach Williamson and Tom Stewart each brought down the quarterback twice for sacks.

ATTICA/ALEXANDER (7-1) 42
Five different players scored on the ground for Attica/Alexander in the win. Tyler Marino ran for 59 yards on 13 carries including a nine yard touchdown run. Trent Woods tallied 36 rushing yards including a 18-yard touchdown and additionally threw for 64 yards. Braden Allen caught two passes for 60 yards and also ran for a touchdown from one yard out. Landyn Thomas scored a five-yard touchdown, and Damien Hale had a 14-yard touchdown. Clayton Bezon added eight tackles, two of which being for a loss, and recovered a fumble. Case Hill tackled eight ball-carriers, including one TFL.

Micah Harshfield tallied 181 yards on the ground on 22 carries, scoring three total touchdowns in the win for RJ. Harshfield ran for scores from 20 and 40 yards out, and connected with Aldric Smith-Fee on a 25-yard touchdown pass. Harshfield additionally had 13 tackles on defense. Hasen Weatherbee intercepted a pass and supplied nine tackles. Matt Allen chipped in with eight tackles.

Trey Bucholz only ran the ball six times, but he was able to turn it into 134 yards and three touchdowns for Bolivar-Richburg. Caden Allen had 161 passing yards off completing five of his 11 pass attempts, two of which that ended up going to Kingston Loucks for scores. Loucks finished having snagged four balls for 145 yards. Calyn Todd had four carries for 81 yards and a score. Tavyn MacDonell racked up 69 yards on seven carries, one of which for a touchdown. Zyaire Banks turned in a performance that featured 18 carries for 134 yards and a touchdown for Finney. Connor O’Hare ran for 81 yards and a touchdown. Owen Torelli added 69 yards and a touchdown.
