The 2023 Section V Class C2 Boys’ bracket features four Livingston County Athletic Association teams, three each from Finger Lakes squads and the Genesee Region, along with two from Allegany and a single team each from Steuben County and Wayne County. The tournament will begin with first-round action on Wednesday, October 18th. The finals are set to take place on Saturday, October 28th.
Both Class C 2022 champions were placed in the C1 bracket this season. In fact, the top four teams of last year’s C2 bracket are no longer in that class. Current top seed, Dundee/Bradford’s only three losses have come from C1’s third seed, Addison, and an undefeated Naples squad, twice. Geneseo went 11-1-1 to finish second and extend its annual status as a Class C threat. The Blue Devils’ claimed the championship in 2018 and have visited the finals twice since. Third seed, Alfred-Almond, will take on Honeoye in the first round, the same team it downed on PKs last year in the D1 first round. Here’s the breakdown:
