The 2023 Section V Class AAA Boys’ bracket features three squads from the Rochester City Athletic Conference and two Monroe County teams. The tournament will begin with first-round action on Friday, October 20th. The finalists will meet Friday, October 27th to decide the championship.
Fairport, the top seed, is looking for its first sectional title since its 2019 postseason run into the NYS Class AA finals. NYS Class AA 2022 runner-up, McQuaid Jesuit, is looking to repeat its run for a second title in as many seasons. The Knights enter postseason play with six wins in their last eight matches. Third seed, Rush-Henrietta, reaches the postseason with wins over East/Monroe/NE/SWW and WOIS/Edison/Franklin/SOTA already this season. Here’s the breakdown:
