The 2023 Section V Class A Boys’ bracket features six Monroe County squads, five Finger Lake East sides and is led by a single Private-Parochial team. The tournament kicks-off with first-round action on Tuesday, October 17th. Finals are set for Friday, October 27th at Spencerport.
Second seed, Pittsford Sutherland, is looking to complete its redemption run after falling to Spencerport in the Section V Class A finals last season. Top seed and unbeaten, Aquinas, is entering the playoffs with recent wins against Class AA McQuaid Jesuit, Livonia and Pittsford Mendon. Last year’s undefeated first seed, Wayne, enters as this season’s fourth with losses only to the top seeds in Class A and B. Here’s the breakdown:
