Patrick Altpeter connected on a run-scoring two-bagger in the top of the third, bringing home Ethan Light as the Pale Hose took a lead they did not relinquish.
Light worked a one-out walk to set up the double. Mathew Gross followed Altpeter by driving him in. The Pale Hose jumped out to an early lead in the first inning with Light smacking a one-out single, followed by Altpeter walking before a Gross sacrifice fly. Gross also started on the mound for the Pale Hose, going three no-hit innings while allowing an unearned run and fanning four. The Pale Hose hurler allowed one ball to leave the infield during the outing. Colin MacLean and Michael Calogero both worked one inning in relief, striking out two and one, respectively. Brennan Pipitone threw the last two innings and struck out the side to end the game in the seventh.
Freddie Ferrer notched the fourth run for the Pale Hose, cracking an RBI three-bagger and scoring Brady Prebalick in the fourth. Prebalick singled in the at-bat prior. For the Amazins, Joe Guisto tallied the lone hit in the bottom of the fourth. Jacob Wolff trotted home in the second after working a one-out walk earlier in the frame. Max Ng, Ryan Merlo and Wolff each hurled one scoreless inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Mickey Hummel led off the bottom of the seventh with a walk, then later came around to score, ending an eight-unanswered run streak and sparking a two-run seventh to force a tie. The A’s utilized six runs in the top of the first to jump out to a fast start. In the frame, Grady Rogers provided a one-out baserunner with a single. Then Matthew Scibienski cashed in Rogers with an RBI two-bagger to open the scoring. After Ryan Grasley soaked up a hit by pitch and Scibienski scoring the second A’s run, Robbie Langdon allowed Grasley to trot home with a single.
Jack Salerno later in the frame brought home both Langdon and Corey Weiss, making it a 5-0 game. Mickey Hummel trotted home to score the sixth run during the next at-bat. The Sawx responded instantly, with Derrick Allen drawing a leadoff walk and then stealing home later in the frame. After Joey Presutti scored via a passed ball in the fourth, Ashton Kwoka smacked a two-out RBI two-bagger to spark the Sawx offense that scored multiple runs for three straight innings. Joshua Winter followed Kwoka by scoring him with a base knock, cutting the deficit to two. Ryan Ciccone entered for the Sawx in the second and hurled three innings, allowing two hits while striking out four. Kwoka followed Ciccone with two no-hit innings, including one strikeout.
With the bases loaded in the fifth, Cameron Rider forced home Tyler Gentzke with a walk. Later, Benjamin Horvath tied the game, trotting home on a passed ball. The Sawx offense came out storming again in the sixth, with Winter immediately roping a triple to lead off the frame. Jace Crawford followed with a walk, then Winter trotted home to give the Sawx the lead for the first time. Crawford tallied a run later in the inning to make it a two-run game leading into the seventh. Weiss shrugged off the two-run sixth and retired the Sawx to go down in order in the seventh, forcing the tie.
Scibienski went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored to lead the A’s offense. Langdon finished 1-for-2, driving in one while scoring one. Grasley doubled in one at-bat. Rogers and Weiss both tallied singles. Salerno tallied two RBI. For the Sawx, Winter finished 3-for-3 with a double and triple to lead the hit column. Presutti went 1-for-2 with a run scored. Kwoka and Allen both tallied a hit and scored a run apiece. Gentzke, Horvath and Crawford all contributed a run for the Sawx
