In the completion of a suspended game from Tuesday, Aidan Caselli hurled three shutout innings in relief, and Grant Distaffen turned a leadoff walk in the fifth into the go-ahead run as the Bombers pulled away late for the victory. Caselli struck out one and faced one over the minimum to pick up the win. After working a free pass, Distaffen stole second and eventually came home on a wild pitch to snap a 3-3 tie. Hudson Lazenby finished 2-for-4 with a run scored to lead the Bombers’ offense. Charlie Underhill drove in a run with a single and later scored. Noah Gressell walked and scored. Sam Nick also crossed home plate. Gerald Hitchcock and Kieran Hayes had a single apiece in the win. Dwyer Boyzuck started and struck out three over two scoreless innings of work on the mound.

Christian Sciortino walked and came home in the fourth when the Bucs scored three times to knot the game at three. Sciortino also singled in the game. Brody Kwoka and Chase Sullivan both walked and scored for the Bucs. Maddox Stoughton drove in a run with a sacrifice fly. Fred Ferrer, MJ Ganguzza and Drew Johnson collected a single apiece. Ryan Wiepert allowed one run on one hit over two innings of relief work. Ganguzza hurled the final two innings. The right-hander struck out one and did not allow an earned run.

The Bombers kept their winning streak alive in a back-and-forth slugfest victory over the Bucs on Thursday night. Sam Nick started the scoring in the decisive five-run sixth inning with a two-run triple into the left-center gap. Dwyer Boyzuck began the inning with a leadoff single, followed up by a five-pitch walk by Rowan Boyzuck. Grant Distaffen put down a bunt single to load the bases before Nick cleared them with his three-bagger.

Nick also connected for a leadoff double in the third and scored two batters later on a one-out single from Aidan Caselli. Nick finished with a three-hit day, while Caselli had a two-RBI day. The Bombers hurled eight strikeouts while throwing three separate pitchers, with Noah Gressell leading the way with two innings of one-run ball. Gressell struck out two over his two innings of work, while Kieran Hayes started on the bump for the Bucs, and tossed three quality innings while throwing 41 of his 65 pitches for strikes.

For the Bucs, Maddox Stoughton started the game and struck out four while allowing four runs (one earned) over three innings. Brayden Delly was first to come in relief for the Bucs, pitching a strong fourth and fifth inning and punching out three batters while only allowing one unearned run. Stoughton also chipped in as a hitter, finishing 1-for-3 with an RBI single. The Bucs started off hot at the plate, putting three across in the top of the first. MJ Ganguzza began the inning with a one-out opposite field single, while Brody Kwoka worked a four-pitch walk. With runners in scoring position and two outs, Kevin Schmitt and Nathan Scozzaro both jumped on the first pitch in back-to-back at-bats to bring a pair of runners across. The Bucs rallied late but came up just short, putting four across the board in the seventh to make it a two run game. Schmitt, Ganguzza, and Kwoka would each finish with one hit, while Scozzaro paced the Bucs offense, going 2-for-2 with a walk.
