Joe Guisto roped an RBI two-bagger in the top of the second, opening the floodgates as the Amazins jumped out to an early lead that they did not relinquish. Nicholas DiFrancesca led off the frame with a walk, before being driven in by Guisto’s one-out double.
Jared Swift brought home Jacob Sova with a bunt in the following at-bat. The Amazins put up a four-spot in the fourth to pull away. Swift, Guisto and Xander Rogers all trotted home in the inning before DiFrancesca cashed in Max Ng. In the fifth, Mason Davey connected for an inside-the-park home run, putting the Amazins up 7-0. The A’s managed to cut the deficit in half in the sixth. Ryan Grasley reached with a one-out single, then Jack Salerno and Cristian Morrison both roped RBI doubles. Matthew Scibienski drove home Morrison with a base knock.

Later in the inning, Evan Lukus forced a walk that brought home Scibienski. Dylan Cole had an RBI single to end the scoring for the A’s. Alan Plummer and Davey combined for five innings pitched, striking out seven while allowing one hit. Davey finished 2-for-4 with two runs tallied and a run driven in. Guisto went 2-for-3 with two RBI. Swift was 1-for-2 with an RBI and a run scored. DiFrancesca and Sova trotted home twice. Ng and Rogers tallied one run apiece. For the A’s, Salerno, Morrison, Scibienski and Cole all had a base hit and drove home a run. Brody Ignizio had a single. Mickey Hummel crossed home once.

Derrick Allen blasted a long ball out to right in the top of the seventh, highlighting a Sawx offense that scored nine runs in the last three frames and at least 10 runs in the first two games. Ashton Kwoka kicked off the scoring in the first, cashing in Cameron Rider. Benjamin Horvath and Rider both trotted home in the third inning for the Sawx, one of four multi-run producing innings on the day. Ian Schmeer connected on a one-out RBI single in the bottom of the third, scoring Michael Calogero for the lone Pale Hose run. The Sawx offense got back to work in the fifth, utliizing an RBI from Horvath and a base knock from Max Angle that scored Joseph Presutti.
Kwoka kept the offense rolling in the sixth, driving in Yapjoco on a base hit. After a one-out walk to Jace Crawford, Evan Cuba brought home Kwoka with a sacrifice fly. Crawford later trotted home with the eighth run for the Sawx. In addition to Allen’s blast in the seventh, Yapjoco roped a run-scoring two-bagger to give the Sawx an 11-1 lead. Kwoka started on the mound for the Sawx, allowing an unearned run on two hits while striking out two. Evan Cuba and Horvath combined to throw four no-hit innings out of the bullpen, with Cuba striking out five while Horvath fanned three. Allen, Presutti and Angle all finished 2-for-3, with Allen and Presutti tallying two runs scored. Yapjoco and Kwoka both went 2-for-4 with a run scored. Kwoka drove home a pair while Yapjoco cashed in one. Evan Cuba went 1-for-2 with a triple, an RBI and scored once. Owen Cuba tallied a base knock. Rider and Crawford both scored once. For the Pale Hose, Schmeer and Mathew Gross both were 1-for-2 to lead the hit column.
