Nomar Mazara drove in the game-winning run with a two-out base hit in the ninth to lift the Rochester Red Wings to a 5-4 victory against the Lehigh Valley IronPigs Friday evening.

Rochester battled back from two, two-run deficits in the ballgame.

After Lehigh Valley took a 2-0 lead in the third inning behind a Jake Cave home run and a Darick Hall sacrifice fly, Erick Mejia in the sixth inning collected the Wing’s first run with a sharp ground ball base hit to the first basemen that scored Jake Noll.

In the top of the eighth inning, the Red Wings snagged their first lead with a three-run frame. Noll drove in Mazara with a double with one out in the inning. The second basemen finished the night 3-for-5 with two runs scored and the RBI. Drew Millas collected a double of his own to tie the game and score Noll. Meija collected his second RBI of the night with his first triple of the season to score Millas.
