Friday’s game between the Rochester Red Wings and Worcester Red Sox was postponed due to inclement weather, forcing a doubleheader for Saturday.
Rochester has won two of the three games played in Worcester so far this week, taking the first two before falling on Thursday, 5-4. Any wins this weekend will ensure at least a split of the six game series.
Right-handed pitcher Paolo Espino, who was the scheduled starter for Friday’s game, will instead start game one of the doubleheader on Saturday at 4:05 p.m. Righty Jose Urena is scheduled to pitch game two.
