McKinlee Harris put Bolivar on the board with a hit to center to cut into the Addison lead, 3-1, before Ayers tied it up later in the inning with a bases-loaded hit to score two. Jayna Thomas then singled to make it 4-3 before Ayers came home to extend to lead to 5-3. Lillian Newell got Addison back to within one with a single to center to narrow the lead to 5-4. Madigan Harris extended the Bolivar lead again, 7-4, with a two-run double in the fourth. She’d score her team’s eighth run on a steal of home later in the inning, extending the lead to 8-4. A three-run fifth for Addison that included an RBI double from Bregan Jones and a single by Courtney Wilson narrowed Bolivar’s lead to 8-7, but McKinlee Harris hit her second RBI single of the day in the bottom of the inning to extend the lead back to two runs, 9-7. Hadleigh Watson narrowed the deficit again with an RBI double in the top of the sixth, 9-8, but Ayers’ home run brought about the final 10-8 score.
