Kadyn Hartel fanned six and hurled a three-hitter to guide Rush-Henrietta to the sectional finals. Hartel went 2-for-2 with two RBI and one run scored. Olivia Sheffer led the Comets’ offense with a 3-for-5 effort with three RBI and one run scored. Elizabeth Rinella finished 3-for-5 with two RBI and three runs scored. Audrey Gleghorn had two hits in four at-bats with two runs scored and two runs driven in. Elizabeth Gleghorn and Robyn Bond also drove in a run for the Comets. Luci Rozzi went 2-for-4 for Brighton. Rush-Henrietta will take on No. 3 Victor in the Class AA finals.

Olivia Steinorth struck out six in a complete game effort to lead Victor to the sectional title game. Steinorth gave up three hits during her time in the circle. Carrie Sidare scored the lone run on a wild pitch in the fourth inning. Mekenna Hobson finished 2-for-4 while Ryleigh Fontana went 2-for-3 for the Blue Devils. Leah Murray, Mikayla Bengsch, and Sarah Ferruzza tallied the hits for Webster Schroeder. Victor will take on top-seeded Rush-Henrietta in the Class AA title game.

Abby Ras hit the two-out walk-off base hit to send Irondequoit to the Class A1 title game. Ras led the Eagles’ offense with a three-RBI night while going 2-for-5 at the dish. Norah DeMayo went 2-for-4 with an RBI. Kailey Besio finished 2-for-3 with an RBI. Marlayna Cartagena struck out 14 in a complete-game effort for the Eagles and improved to 14-1 on the season. Emerson Broomfield struck out seven in six and two-thirds innings pitched while leading the Canandaigua offense with a 2-for-4 effort with two RBI. Ariana Buchiere finished 3-for-4 at the dish with a triple, a run scored and an RBI. Irondequoit will play No. 2 Webster Thomas in the Class A1 finals.

Leah Sperry set down seven via the strikeout in a complete game pitching performance to help Our Lady of Mercy reach the Class A2 title game. Sperry drove in a run at the dish. Rowan Hennessy and Madeline Oleksyn both led the Monarchs’ offense by going 2-for-4 with two runs scored and three RBI. Ava Verdi finished 2-for-3 with three runs scored and two runs driven in. Isabella Mitrano went 2-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI. Kirsten Crowley also drove in a run for the Monarchs. Samantha Ray and Jesse Newmyer were credited with a run driven in for Wayne. Our Lady of Mercy will take on No. 6 Honeoye Falls-Lima to decide the Class A2 title.

Waterloo used a four-run fifth inning to propel its way to the sectional title game. Haylee Beesley tied the game in the big inning with an RBI fielder’s choice that scored Gwyneth Panek. Beesley scored the decisive run two batters later. Nadya Clingerman and Kennedy Beniamino combined for nine strikeouts in the circle for the Tigers. Ireland Harrison and Kadience Gollnitz were credited with RBI for Hornell. Waterloo will take on No. 2 Batavia in the Class B1 finals.

Lizzy Grazioplene had the game-winning two-run base hit to help Batavia secure a spot in the Class B1 title game. Grazioplene went 2-for-4 with three RBI. Julia Clark went 2-for-3 with an RBI. Lila Fortes also drove in a run for the Blue Devils. Giana Mruczek fanned nine in a complete game effort. Batavia will face top-seeded Waterloo to decide the Class B1 champion.

Lindsay Stuck drove in five while going 3-for-4 to help Wellsville advance to the sectional final. Makenzie Cowburn struck out six in a complete-game effort and also had three RBI at the dish. Makenna Dunbar had two RBI during a 3-for-4 performance. Emma Dunnaway and Sawyer Burke both finished with 2-for-4 and an RBI. Marissa Ordway and Natalie Adams also drove in a run for the Lions. Wellsville will take on No. 2 Haverling in the Class B2 title game.

Kaili Witherell retired 17 via the strikeout in a complete game effort to help Haverling advance to its second straight Class B2 title game. Witherell went 2-for-3 with a run scored at the dish. Madison Coots drove in the decisive run in the third inning with a line out that drove in Witherell. Caydence Spears drove in an insurance run in the fifth inning with an RBI double that drove in Coots. Spears finished 3-for-3. Lola Coots hit a solo home run in the second inning to open the scoring for the Rams. Lola finished 2-for-3 with a run scored. Nora Schubmehl drove in the lone Wayland-Cohocton run in the third inning on an RBI double that brought around Claire Donlon to score to tie the game. Haverling will take on top-seeded Wellsville in the Class B2 final.

Addison will take on No. 6 Letchworth in the Class C1 title game.

Jessie Crye struck out seven while pitching six innings for Avon. Crye went 2-for-3 with a double. Kyleigh DeRider drove in a run. Letchworth will play No. 8 Addison to decide the Class C2 champion.

Morgan Sutryk drove in both runs for Dundee/Bradford on a double in the fifth inning to send the BraveScots to the sectional final. Sutryk drove in Mykenzie Clancey and Madalyn Knapp after they both reached base via an error. Adrienne Kendall struck out six during a complete game effort. Malina Bellos scored the lone Caledonia-Mumford run on an error in the fifth inning. Emma Years pitched a complete game while striking out four for the Raiders. Dundee/Bradford will play top-seeded Bolivar-Richburg in the Class C2 final.

No. 4 NOTRE DAME-BATAVIA (16-5) 7

Notre Dame-Batavia had enough run support to hold off the Keshequa’s three-run sixth inning to advance to the Class D1 title game. Katie Landers and Loretta Sorochty both went 2-for-4 with a run driven in. Sorochty hit a solo home run in the sixth inning and struck out six in a complete-game effort. Cayleigh Havens, Kaydence Stehlar, and Sonji Warner also drove in a run for Notre Dame Batavia. Julia Wilkins and Isabella Hugi were credited with RBI for Keshequa. Wilkins drove in her run in the sixth inning on a ground out. Hugi had a base hit that drove in Anna Wood in the second to get Keshequa on the board. Notre Dame will play No. 2 Lyndonville in the sectional final.
