The 2023 Section V Class C2 Baseball bracket features five Livingston County teams, three Genesee Region teams, three Finger Lakes teams, two teams from Allegany County and Wayne County along with one each from Steuben County and the Private-Parochial League team. The tournament is set to begin with one game on May 19th and the championship game will be on May 27th at Hornell High School.
Last season’s Class C2 champion Oakfield-Alabama has moved up to Class C1 so there will be a new champion in this classification. Last season’s Class C2 runner-up, Notre Dame-Batavia, enters as the No. 1 seed for the second year in a row. Notre Dame’s only loss came on the final day of the regular season against Section VI Class B opponent Akron as the Irish will seek their 11th title in program history. No. 3 seed Bolivar Richburg was last season’s Class C3 champion. Bolivar-Richburg has won a sectional title in four straight seasons and five of the last six. No. 2 seed Warsaw has won eight of its last nine games.
