The 2023 Section V Class C1 Baseball bracket features five Genesee Region teams, four teams each from Wayne County and Livingston County along with two Steuben County teams. The tournament will begin play on May 20th with the championship game set for May 27th.
Last year’s runner-up, Sodus, will enter as the No.1 for the second year in a row. The Spartans have won seven of eight entering the sectional tournament. Defending champion Letchworth enters as the No. 5 seed and has won five of its last six. Oakfield-Alabama has won seven of its last eight and enters as the No. 2 seed. The Hornets were last season’s Class C2 champions. No. 3 seed Bloomfield enters sectional play on an 11-game winning streak as the Bombers will look to win a sectional title for the first time in program history.
