The 2023 Section V Class D2 Softball bracket features three Private-Parochial schools, two Allegany schools, one Steuben school, and one school from the Genesee Region. The tournament opens with games on May 20th, and closes with the championship game taking place on May 27th at Fillmore High School.
Scio/Friendship finished the regular season with the best record in the class, and is looking to win its third straight Class D sectional championship. Finney and Northstar Christian enter the postseason with 12 wins each, and split with each other in the regular season.
