Sectional Preview: Softball Class D1

The 2023 Section V Class D1 Softball bracket features three teams from the Steuben County League, three teams from Finger Lakes West, two teams from Allegany County , two teams from the Genesee Region and one team from Livingston County. The tournament opens with games on May 20th, and closes with the championship game taking place on May 27th at Fillmore High School.

Three teams come into the D1 playoffs with at least 14 wins: Keshequa, Honeoye, and Notre Dame-Batavia. Keshequa has won nine of its last 10 games, Honeoye started the year off 13-1, and Notre Dame Batavia had a nine-game win streak during the middle of the season.
