Cooper Romich delivered a bases-clearing double in the bottom of the second to lead Churchville-Chili. Romich added a run while Braedon Reina had a hit, run and an RBI. Parker Farnham had a double and scored a run while Joshua Campbell added a hit and a run. Michael Sardou added a hit for the Saints. Evan Putney was the winning pitcher, going five innings allowed two runs (one earned) and striking out four. Dominic Morsch finished off the victory with two scoreless innings while only allowing one hit. Joshua Butka led Webster Thomas with a double and a triple while also scoring a run. Edward Frusci went 2-for-2, Mason Lawyer had a hit and a run and Nathan Hill added a single to round out the offensive efforts for the Titans. Shane Talbot threw four shutout innings in relief for Webster Thomas.

PITTSFORD SUTHERLAND (10-2) 8
Colin MacLean went six innings allowing just two unearned runs and striking out seven to lead Pittsford Sutherland to its seventh victory in a row. MacLean also added two hits, including a two run single in the third. Andrew Holvey added two hits, including a double and a two-run single, as well as scoring a run. Tyler Brown added a 2-for-4 day at the plate while Theo Schwartz, Jack Armanini and Mason Garcia all drove in a run for the Knights. Ryan Munzinger and Owen Osborne each added a hit and two runs while Maxwell Vorrasi scored twice. Paul Byrne added a hit for Pittsford Sutherland. Evan Bishop singled, walked and drove in a run for Eastridge. Brennen Russo had two hits and a run scored while Benny Calixto added a hit and a run for the Lancers.

HONEOYE FALLS-LIMA (7-5) 8
Nate Weber threw a complete game shutout with six strikeouts to lead Honeoye Falls-Lima to its second consecutive victory. Weber also went 1-1 with an RBI at the plate for the Cougars.

Lucas Leone was recently named the recipient of the Black Lion Award, an honor given in the memory of the late Don Holleder who lost his life in the field of battle. Wednesday afternoon on the baseball diamond, the sophomore outfielder let out an appropriate roar. Leone connected on a full-count pitch and brought home Tré Walker in the bottom of the seventh as the Aquinas Li’l Irish walked off with its fourth straight win. READ MORE.

Trey Buchholz went the distance, striking out nine to lead Bolivar-Richburg to its eighth straight victory. Buchholz added a double, two walks, a stolen base and four runs scored out of the lead off spot in the Wolverines order. Reiss Gaines hit a three-run triple that blew the game open in the bottom of the sixth while James Margeson added two hits and two runs. Aydin Sisson added two hits and an RBI. Trenton Green provided an RBI hit for Wellsville in the first. Cooper Brockway, Aidan Riley and Logan Dunbar each had a hit and a run scored. Gavin Haggerty drove in a run and Cody Costello added a hit for the Lions.
