Katherine Cywinski put Canandaigua out in front early, 2-0, with a two-out, two-run double in the first, but Sutherland took the lead in the third on a three-run home run by Julia Hunt to move ahead, 3-2. Petra Hunt went 3-for-4 with four RBI, including a two-run home run in the bottom of the third to make it 5-2. Canandaigua starting pitcher Emerson Broomfield provided her team’s third and final run of the day with a solo shot to lead off the fourth. Gabrielle Lyons had an RBI for Sutherland. Starter Maddy Ward went the complete game, allowing five hits while striking out five.

Lily Goldberg struck out 15 and allowed just three hits to lead Mendon. Irondequoit took the early lead on a first-inning single by Norah DeMayo, but a single by Arina Van Baaren in the third tied it up, 1-1. Skylar Wilson doubled in the fourth to bring home the go-ahead run. Irondequoit threatened in the seventh and loaded the bases before Pittsford turned a game-ending double play for its third win the past four games. Left fielder Greta Marino led Pittsford in hits with two and also scored a run. Kailey Besio struck out five for Irondequoit in the loss.

Julia Clark went 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI for Batavia, while Drew Stevens went 2-for-4 with a triple. Sophia Minuto had three RBI and a double. Giana Mruzxek earned the win with six strikeouts. Arcadia’s Makayla Mohr went 2-for-4 with a double and triple.

Amanda Linnenbrink allowed just two hits while striking out three in the complete-game shutout, adding a hit, two walks, and a run scored at the plate. Center fielder Nicole Allen finished a double short of the cycle as the SUNY Stony Brook commit went 5-for-6 with three RBI, a home run, and a triple that led off the game. Vivian Black had five RBI, including a three-RBI single in the fifth. Right fielder Lana Wood went 3-for-5 with two RBI, including a single in the first that scored two. Juliana Catalano, Hannah Radomski and Lauryn Smith had an RBI each. Anna and Emma Bello had the lone hits for Thomas.

A walk-off double by Vanessa Ng in the bottom of the seventh sent Brighton home with the win. The winning run was the first scored by either team since the third, when Emma Atzl gave Penfield the early 1-0 lead with a one-out double before Maria Minemier tied it up for Brighton in the bottom of the inning with a two-out double. Kimberly Bentley earned the win for three innings of no-hit relief for Brighton, striking out one after taking over for starter Grace Morgan, who allowed three hits in four innings with three strikeouts. Penfield starter Clare Magee threw six-plus innings and did not give up an earned run.

Gates Chili pulled away from Eastridge with 11 runs in the last three innings, including a six-run fifth that included a tie-breaking two RBI single by Kathryn Baretela, one of three hits and four RBI on the day for the right fielder. Shortstop Erin McManus went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in the second. Second baseman Hannah Brown and catcher Sadie Butler both had two RBI, while Hailey Garbato and Lily Mcmenemy contributed an RBI each. Carly Brockman went 3-for-4 for Eastridge, while Emma Johnson had two RBI. Harper Kuehne started the game for Eastridge and had an RBI at the plate.

Ally Ray Schumacher went 4-for-5 with a home run, two doubles, six RBI, three runs, and a walk for Greece. Third baseman Madison Rund went 2-for-5 with five RBI, while outfielder Anais Serrano went 2-for-5 with four RBI. Rylee Brick, Madeline Ewanow, Addyson Trippodo, Morgan Feeney, and Mariah Freeman also had RBI. Isabella Alcock doubled, walked, and had two RBI for Geneva. Elaina Trout also had two RBI.

Mia Wilson also went 3-for-four, scoring twice and knocking in an RBI. Emma Years allowed five hits and struck out six in the win. Kaelyn Jake, Avery DeMarco, and Malina Bellos also had RBI for Caledonia. Emily Metz tripled, and Mia Loughlin doubled for Geneseo.

Charity Scott also had three RBI, going 3-for-4. Abbie DeRock got the four-hit shutout from the circle, striking out seven while also going 2-for-3 at the plate with two doubles and two RBI. Reagan Bannister, Grace Mitchell, and Abby Bacon also had RBI. Sydney Howard, Cloey Larabee, Taylor Searle, and Aubrey Williams had the hits for Cuba-Rushford.

Scio’s Nevaeh Ross threw a 13-strikeout no-hitter for the win, while her sister Morghyn threw out a runner on the basepaths. Logan Roberts went 1-for-3 with two RBI, while Avery Lamberson had an RBI triple. Genesee Valley-Belfast’s Hannah Poers struck out seven.

Emma Carlton went 3-for-4 with two doubles, a triple, and five RBI, including an RBI double in the first inning to open scoring for Avoca-Prattsburgh. Ellie Harrell walked twice and had a two-RBI double in the fifth, scoring three times including the go-ahead run in the bottom of the second. Emily Hammond had a two-RBI double in the first and later scored a run in the third after reaching base on a walk. All six of Hammondsport’s runs came in the second, as they briefly took the 6-5 lead when Amber Crane reached on an error during her second plate appearance of the inning. Sam and Alex Pratt each had RBI for Hammondsport during the second.
