The 2023 Section V Class D2 Boys’ bracket is set with four squads out of Allegany County, two from Steuben County, a Genesee Region club and one team out of Livingston County Athletic Association. The tournament opens with quarterfinals on Friday and finalists will meet on March 4th at Blue Cross Arena.
Top-seeded Jasper-Troupsburg is seeking its fourth sectional title and first since 1998. No. 2 Mount Morris has won seven of its last nine games by an average of 19.4 points. No. 4 Elba is looking to reach the finals for a second straight season. Last year’s champs, Notre Dame-Batavia is now competing as members of Class D1. Here’s the breakdown:
