The Class D1 Girls’ bracket features four teams from Finger Lakes, two from Livingston County Athletic Association, two out of Allegany County, two from Steuben County and one squad from the Genesee Region. The tournament begins on Tuesday with four matchups. The finalists will meet on March 3rd in the championship game.
Top-seeded Keshequa is seeking to bounce back from its semifinal exit last year as part of the Class C3 bracket. The Indians are aiming for their eighth sectional title in program history, and first since 2020 as a member of Class C2. Fillmore enters as the No. 2 seed having won its last six games, and the Eagles will be seeking their second sectional title in program history. No. 5 seed Avoca/Prattsburgh has previously knocked off No. 2 Fillmore 40-37 on January 14th, and the Titans have gone 6-2 to finish the regular season after starting the campaign 6-6. Last year’s champs, Notre Dame-Batavia will compete out of Class C2. Here’s the breakdown:
