The 2023 Section V Class C2 Girls’ bracket features five Livingston County teams, four Genesee Region squads, two clubs from both the Allegany County and Finger Lakes West divisions and one more from the Private-Parochial, Steuben County and Wayne County leagues. The tournament opens with first-round games on Wednesday evening and the finalists will meet on March 4th to decide the championship.

Pavilion, the reigning champion, is seeking its third sectional title in the past four years. Lyons, the top seed, is looking for its first sectional title since 2014 when the Lions won the class C2 championship. Byron-Bergen, the No. 6 seed, enters postseason play with five wins in its last seven games, including victories over Lyndonville and East Rochester. Here’s the breakdown:
