The 2023 Section V Class C3 Boys’ bracket features three teams from both Finger Lakes and the Livingston County Athletic Association, two squads from both Genesee Region and Wayne County and one more each from the Allegany County and Private-Parochial League. The tournament opens with first-round games on Tuesday night and the finalists will meet on March 3rd to decide the championship.
Lyons, the top seed, is looking for its 21st sectional title in program history and sixth in the last 11 years. Dundee/Bradford, the No. 7 seed, enters postseason play with eight wins in its last 10 games, including victories over Bloomfield and Red Jacket. Last year’s reigning champion, York, was moved to class C2 this season. Here’s the breakdown:
