The 2023 Section V Class C2 Boys’ bracket features four Genesee Region teams, three Wayne County squads, two Livingston County Athletic Association clubs and one more each from Allegany County, Steuben County and Private-Parochial League. The tournament opens with first-round games on Tuesday night and the finalists will meet on March 3rd to decide the championship.
Oakfield-Alabama, the reigning champion, is seeking its sixth sectional title in program history. Pembroke, the top seed, is looking for its second sectional final appearance in the last six years. Bolivar-Richburg, the No. 5 seed, enters postseason play with six wins in its last eight games, including victories over Cuba-Rushford and Wellsville. Here’s the breakdown:
