The 2023 Section V Class B1 Boys’ bracket features five Finger Lakes teams, three Monroe County squads, three Private-Parochial clubs and one more from Livingston County. The tournament opens with first-round games on Wednesday night and the finalists will meet on March 4th to decide the title.

Newark, the reigning champion, is seeking its 13th sectional title in program history. Batavia, the top seed, is looking for its second sectional title in the last three years. Vertus, the No. 5 seed, enters postseason play with six wins in the last seven games, including a victory over Northstar Christian. Here’s the breakdown:
