The 2023 Section V Class A2 Boys’ bracket features five Rochester City Athletic Conference (RCAC) teams, four Monroe County squads and one more from Finger Lakes East. The tournament opens with first-round games on Wednesday afternoon and the finalists will meet on March 4th to decide the championship.

East High, the reigning champion, is seeking its fourth consecutive sectional title and 27th in program history. Monroe, the top seed, is looking for its first sectional final appearance since 1988 when the Red Jackets made the class AA championship as the No. 12 seed. Pittsford Mendon, the No. 5 seed and last season’s A1 champion, enters postseason play with four straight wins, including victories over Brockport, Irondequoit and Pittsford Sutherland.
