Jack Callery tallied two points to help McQuaid advance to the Class A sectional semifinals. Callery tied the game in the second period for the Knights. Alex Saracene gave McQuaid the lead with assists from Drew Palmer and Matt Kozara. Evan Kopacz added an empty net goal with an assist from Callery. Rory Fitzpatrick saved 33 of the 34 shots he faced. Mason Wright scored the lone goal for Spartan Hockey with an assist from Mikey Valent. McQuaid will take on number four seed Pittsford in the semifinals.

NO. 2 VICTOR (17-3-1) 4
Simon Kowal scored twice to help Victor advance to the Class A sectional semifinals. Kowal scored 44 seconds into the contest with assists from Tanner Radogna and Jackson Guck. Dylan Weldon doubled the Blue Devils’ lead nearly seven minutes later with help from Chris Donnelly. After Fairport cut the lead in half in the second period, Michael Peluso scored an unassisted goal halfway through the third period. Kowal scored his second of the game to seal the victory with an empty net goal with assists from Peluso and Asher Erwin. Lucas Milne scored the only Red Raider goal 33 seconds into the second period with help from AJ Nelson. Victor will continue its title defense against number three seed Batavia Notre Dame in the semifinals.
NO. 6 BRIGHTON/HFL (13-9-0) 2
NO. 3 BATAVIA NOTRE DAME (17-4-0) 4
Jameson Motyka scored a hat trick to guide Batavia Notre Dame to a Class A sectional semifinal appearance. After Brighton took a 1-0 lead in the first period, Motyka scored two straight goals for the United to give them the lead. The sophomore’s second goal came with a man advantage. Ivan Milovidov assisted on both goals while Ronin Hofmaster helped on the powerplay goal. Brady Johnson added a goal with two minutes left in the second to extend the United’s lead. Motyka completed the hat trick late in the third period to seal the victory for Batavia Notre Dame. Cooper Hamilton assisted on the tally. Trevor Reese opened the scoring for Brighton/HFL in the first period with an assist from Braydn Trybuskiewicz. Kyle Reese cut the United’s lead down to one in the third period with an assist from Shawn Oelheim. Batavia Notre Dame will take on the number two seed and defending Class A champions Victor Blue Devils.

NO. 4 PITTSFORD (15-5-1) 4
Lucas Procious and Brady McMahon tallied two points to help Pittsford move on to the Class A sectional semifinal. Will Masaschi opened the scoring for the Panthers with a powerplay goal on a shot from a bad angle. Procious assisted on the man-advantage tally. Cole Mann extended the Panthers’ lead with a contested shot from the slot that Drew Ricketts set up. After Penfield tied the game at two in the second period, Procious gave the Panthers the lead again with an early third-period goal when he tipped home a Logan Wood shot from the point. McMahon also assisted on the go-ahead goal. McMahon added an unassisted empty net goal to seal the victory for Pittsford. The Panthers finished 1-2 on the powerplay. Travis Bush cut the Pittsford lead in half for Penfield with a powerplay goal with four seconds left in the first period. Sean Walsh and Thomas Obstarczyk assisted on the man-advantage goal. Angelo Latore tied the game for the Patriots when he snuck a shot past Pittsford’s goaltender Aden Brown about halfway through the second period. Reece Holenbeck assisted on the tying goal and caused a turnover to set up the goal. Penfield went 1-4 on the man advantage. Pittsford will take on McQuaid in the semifinals to decide who goes to the Class A finals.
CLASS B
NO. 7 IRONDEQUOIT (1-20-0) 1
NO. 2 AQUINAS (13-7-1) 6
Connor Mangone tallied four-points to help Aquinas advance to its second straight Class B semifinal appearance. Mangone scored early in the third period on the powerplay and tallied three assists. Connor Carey scored twice and registered an assist. Carey found the back of the net in the first and second periods. Iesa Mohammed found the back of the net in the first period on the powerplay. Tyler Day and Anthony Indiano also found the back of the net for the Li’l Irish. Cam Stewart tallied two assists while Jack Davila, Jonathan Blankenburg, and Alex Smola registered an assist for Aquinas. Douglas Velepec scored the lone Irondequoit goal in the first period with assists from Sam Crane and Taylor Filighera. Aquinas will take on number three seed Webster Schroeder in the semifinals.

NO. 3 WEBSTER SCHROEDER (11-9-1) 8
Webster Schroeder will play number two seed Aquinas in the semifinals.
NO. 5 CANANDAIGUA (4-15-2) 5
NO. 4 WEBSTER THOMAS (7-10-4) 3
Canandaigua will face top-seeded Churchville-Chili in the Class B semifinals.
