Quentin Gordon-Smith set the pace for East, scoring a game-high 22 points. Micah Johnson scored each of his 13 points in the second half, with 10 coming in the final quarter. Kevin McCollough drilled a trio of three-pointers for his nine points. Kesean Leonard finished with eight points. Zion Parson scored all of his five points from the free-throw line. Zymier Jackson totaled three points, while Damarri Lawrence had one point. Davijon Lipscomb put up a 20-point night for Edison Tech. Chris Taggart scored 13 points. Isaiah Wonneberg totaled 10 points. Tyler Bethea had six points, all coming in the second quarter. Jearney Higdon added five points. Jamar Smith scored three points.

Chris Leysath converted on an offensive rebound with less than 10 seconds remaining, and the Aquinas boys’ basketball team held off a late rally to win for the third time in the past four games. READ MORE.

After falling behind 17-6 in the first quarter, Diego Martinez used 10 second quarter points to help rally World of Inquiry to its second straight win. Martinez wound up finishing the game with a team-high 21 points. Jaedon Adams totaled 11 points on the night. Ibrahim Banguara had a 10-point performance. Junayde Richardson tallied nine points. Yacoub Tarawally scored all eight of his points in the 4th quarter. Norman Simmons finished with two points. Kyrell and Kyron Shaw were the leading scorers for Rochester Prep, with Kyrell scoring 23 and Kyron scoring 17. Taymir Mullens put up nine points. Khalil Herring scored five points, while Jamere Brown made three free throws for his three points.

Nolan Smith’s 16 points helped guide HFL to the victory. Landon Hammond contributed eight points. Owen Smith and Carson Joint scored five points. Sam Vogt scored all of his four points in the third quarter. Trent Wager and Austyn Crego both scored three points. Aidan Neenan scored one point. KJ Moxley scored 13 of his 19 points  in the third quarter for Wilson Magnet. Lemar Rhone and Jaylen Hardemann each dropped a dozen points. Divine Calloway had one point.

Jaquan Shears scored 18 in the first-half, and finished with a 27-point night in a game that saw Monroe earn their sixth victory in their past seven games. Davion Jones and Daiquan McKinney combined to knock down nine three pointers and finished with 18 and 17 points respectively. Will McKinney scored all of his points in the second half and finished with 10. Felton Gray scored one point. Talhah Ali used four three-pointers to score a team-high 14 points for Vertus. Dah’mere Brown scored 11. Na’Shon Wade and Reginald Pough each added 10 points. Marcus Ridley hit four free throws and wrapped his night up with nine points. Malachi Davis and Carlos Carrion both scored a point. 

GREECE OLYMPIA (2-18) 42
BATAVIA (16-4) 57
Carter McFollins led the scoring for Batavia with 14 points. Rashawd Christie totaled 10 points for the Blue Devils. Sawyer Silvering buried three three-pointers and finished with nine points as a result. Justin McFollins had eight points. Justin Smith had six points, Cam McClinic had five points, Mike McKenzie had four points, and Joey Marranco had one point. William Brown-Nelson was the leading scorer for Olympia, tallying 17 points. Landen Evans scored nine. Caiden Evans had seven. Ayden Gorham had four points, Amari Colon-Brown had two points, Ethan Gorham had two points, and Zyaire Rivera scored one point.

Brady Gerig topped the box score for Hilton with 24 points. Ben Sneddon tallied 10 points. Luke Simonelli and Mike Whelehan each added eight points. Johnny Bianchi drained a pair of 3s for his six points. Luke Pisani totaled four points. Tim Graziano had a point. Connor Osier scored 14 of his 16 points in the second half for Athena. Zee Johnson added 15 points. Khorie Reaves contributed 13 points. I’zick Reaves was responsible for five points, while I’Zayah Reaves scored three points. Jovon Barfield scored two points.

GATES-CHILI (6-14) 65
CANANDAIGUA (7-13) 74
Nate Barone scored 15 of his 21 in the second half for Canandaigua in a win that saw five of its players reach double figures. Joe Carto had 16 points, Nathan Sheridan  added 13, Connor McKenna tallied 12, and Matt Pawlicki scored 10. Issac Parsons had a second quarter bucket for his two points. Joey Vigerzi scored 18 points thanks in part to four three-point makes to lead Gates-Chili. Brandon Rudolph put up 13 points after not scoring in the first quarter. Jeremy Tantalo knocked down a pair of three-pointers and wrapped up with 10 points. Anthony Dicesare also hit two three-pointers, and finished with eight points.

Eric Hillsman put together a statline of 22 points, 12 rebounds, and five assists for Bishop Kearney. Jah Reaves was an assist shy of a triple-double, as he scored 12 points, snagged 10 rebounds, and dropped nine assists. Trevor Bohon contributed 13 points and five boards. Russell Ellis scored 11 points. Alejandro Aguilar added 10 points. Zack Bordeau scored nine points and rebounded five times. Rocco Barbeiri had two points and 10 rebounds.

Joe Aiken scored eight of his game-high 15 points in the second quarter when Rochester Academy opened a 38-18 lead going into halftime. Cam Miller and Evariste Omebe added 14 points apiece in the win. Chris Coleman accounted 12 points including 5-of-6 free throws in the second quarter. Kam McDonald scored nine. Can’Ron Haten (5) and Javier Green (2) rounded out the scoring for the Racers.

JC Walker used a season-high 43-point night to guide Lions to their 10th straight win. Walker also snagged 12 rebounds, had three blocks, and five steals to add to his stat sheet. Michael Briggs turned in 17 points of his own, while also pulling down six rebounds and bagging two steals. Jacob Sides had 10 points and six steals. Kai Figueroa had seven points, 15 rebounds, and five blocks. Jaiden Lopez scored four points, and Dezmen Bell had two points and four assists. Anthony Torres erupted for 44 points for Geneva, a game-high. Xavier Praylor added 10 points. Brian Whitley and DePatrick Overstreet each tallied six points. DeSean Bruce scored four points, and Daniel Carter had one point.

WATERLOO (12-8) 70
HARLEY-ALLENDALE-COLUMBIA (10-10) 60
Nolan Slywka and Markell Kingston-Johnson led a two-pronged attack for Waterloo, as Slywka’s 20 and Kingston-Johnson’s 19-point performances topped the box score. In addition, Connor McCann tallied 12 points and Dylan Caraballo scored 10 points. Tyler Knapp’s 21 points was enough to make him the game’s leading scorer for HAC, and Harlan Novy-Marx added 18 points.
