The 2023 Section V Class B Ice Hockey playoffs open with the quarterfinal round on Thursday. The semifinals will follow on Wednesday, February 22 and the Class B finals are scheduled for Sunday, February 26 at 4 p.m. at Wegmans Ice Arena at SUNY Brockport. Churchville-Chili is the top seed looking to hold off the defending champion Webster Thomas Titans who are seeking their fourth sectional title in the last five seasons. The Saints finished the season on a five-game winning streak highlighted by a 2-1 victory over class A top seed Victor to conclude the regular season. Here is the breakdown:
