Section V Ice Hockey Class A Preview: Victor looks to repeat

The 2023 Section V Class A Ice Hockey playoffs open with four first-round games on Tuesday. Quarterfinals take place on Thursday with semifinals to follow on Wednesday, February 22. The championship is scheduled for Sunday, February 26 at 1 p.m. at Wegmans Ice Arena on the campus of SUNY Brockport. McQuaid is the top seed looking to hold off defending champions Victor. The Blue Devils will look to win their third sectional title in four years. Fifth-seeded Penfield finished the season 3-0-1 highlighted by a 3-3 tie with second-seeded Victor. Here is the breakdown:
