Matt Whalen scored twice to help Irondequoit pick up its first victory of the season. Whalen found the back of the net in the second and third periods. Both of his tallies were go-ahead goals for the Eagles. Tommy Holves got Irondequoit on the board with a goal from the blue line to tie the game at one. Dylan Carey gave the Eagles the lead towards the end of the first period. Taylor Filighera assisted on the Carey goal. Whalen scored the next two goals for the Eagles to seal the victory. Carey and Sam Crane assisted on the first Whalen tally. Filighera and Alex McLaughlin assisted on the second goal. Joel Reeves registered 26 saves.

Ivan Milovidov’s third-period goal sealed Batavia Notre Dame’s third straight win. Ronin Hofmaster opened the scoring late in the first period with assists from Jake Hutchins and Joe DiRisio. Jameson Motyka added to the United’s lead with a late second-period goal with some help from DiRisio. Milovidov added the insurance goal at about the halfway point of the third. Cooper Hamilton was credited with the assist on Milovidov’s goal. Rhys Tanner made 28 saves for the United. Liam McGrath scored the lone Portside goal late in the second period with an assist from Justin Pastorella.

Will Masaschi scored a hat trick and achieved his 100th career point for the Pittsford Panthers. Masaschi found the back of the net twice in the first period 84 seconds apart and added an empty net goal in the third. Lucas Procious and Drew Ricketts assisted on two of Masaschi’s goals. One goal was unassisted. Brady McMahon scored a go-ahead goal halfway through the third period with an assist from Ricketts and Masaschi. Matt Turner scored his first varsity goal just over four minutes into the contest for Spartan Hockey. Ryan Prusak picked up his first point of the season with an assist on the goal. Dimitrius Swartzenberg scored his first varsity goal with an assist from Oliver Sunday.

Hilton’s two second-period goals helped the Cadets win their second in three games. Tanner Smith opened the scoring for the Cadets just over two minutes into the second. Hunter Hutteman and Casey Hanrahan tallied the assists on the goal. Hanrahan scored a late second-period goal to give Hilton the lead. Hutteman picked up his second assist of the night on the goal. Luke Manley added a goal 25 seconds into the third period. Goalie Aiden Hill was credited with an assist on the goal. Ryan Brown scored the lone WFL goal unassisted in the second period.

Peter Burslem scored the overtime winner for Brighton/HFL to extend its winning streak to three games. Burslem finished the contest with a total of three points. The senior scored a goal in the first period to tie the game at one. Shawn Oelheim and Kyle Reese assisted on the goal. Trevor Reese scored an unassisted goal early in the first period to give the Bruins a lead. Nick Gray scored late in the first period to give the Bruins another lead with an assist from Trevor Reese. Kyle Reese tied the game for the Bruins in the third period with an assist from Burslem. Braydn Trybuskiewicz and Gray assisted on Burslem’s overtime winner 94 seconds into overtime. Ethan Muroski led Penfield with two goals. Muroski scored the contest’s opening goal and an early third-period goal to give the Patriots a 4-3 lead. Mason Maksymiu tallied three points. Maksymiu tied the game at three late in the second period and assisted on both of Muroski’s goals. Sean Walsh also scored for the Patriots. Thomas Obstarczyk assisted on two of the goals. Angelo Latore and Reece Holenbeck tallied assists for Penfield.

Jason Simons tallied two goals including the overtime game-winning goal for a bounce-back win for Webster Schroeder. Simons’ first goal came in the second period short-handed with an assist from TJ Swinson. Jake Splain and Colin Smith were credited with assists on Simons’ overtime winner. Nolan Gamble scored the first Warriors goal with assists from Simons and Swinson.

Two powerplay goals propel Victor to its fourth straight victory. Simon Kowal scored the first man-advantage goal just over a minute into the second period. Drew McCandless set up the powerplay marker. Dylan Weldon scored the second powerplay goal in the third period. Kowal and Michael Peluso assisted on the goal. Axel Black scored the lone Fairport goal early in the second period to tie the game. Matt Oberer assisted on the goal. Connor McRae made 42 saves for the Red Raiders.
