IRONDEQUOIT, N.Y. — Xavier Gissendanner scored 11 of his game-high 27 points in a 15-0 game opening run to lead Irondequoit to its third victory in a row.
Thomas would never get within double digits of the Eagles for the rest of the game. Gissendanner had his way in the paint and converted a number of mid-range jumpers en route to 22 first-half points. The Eagles led at the half 36-14 and maintained that working margin for the remainder of the contest. Irondequoit’s man-to-man defense stymied the Titans’ offensive efforts and did not allow for many second-chance opportunities.
Ryan Heath chipped in 11 points for the Eagles. Other scorers were Quinn Vankerkhove with six, Kenyen Lovett and Isaiah Ballard with four apiece and Azavier Ross with two. Thomas was led by Levi Kulik’s 10 points. Jackson Mulcahy (7), Boston DeWitte (6), Shawn Mason (3), Sean Linder (3), Shane Talbot (3) Mitchell Hale (2) and Arian Nejad (2) rounded out the scoring for the Titans.
