Ava Velletri led the way with a complete performance posting 20 points, 13 rebounds, six assists and four steals. Freshman Alexis Hassall contributed a solid performance with 11 points and three blocks in the win.

Mariah Watkins accounted for 18 of her game-high 24 points in the first two quarters as the Warriors jumped out to a 31-17 advantage at halftime. The junior guard connected six times from the floor including once from distance and converted 5-of-7 from the free throw line over the first 16 minutes of play. Younger sister Bria Watkins also eclipsed double figures with 11 points. Sarah Ferruzza (6), Addison Morgan (3), Mya Perales (3), Kylie Clement (2) and Ava Gallup (2) provided the rest of the scoring for Webster Schroeder. Jayla Taylor 17 of her 21 in the second half to lead Colonie.

Jackie Funk led three in double figures with 30 points, and Penfield won its third straight game. Grace Alexander added 25, and Lena Lipani had 10 points for the Patriots. Emily Fordham (4), Ally Young (2) and Ashley Kalvitis (2) also scored for Penfield.

Knotted up at 39 with just over two minutes to play the Wildcats ended on a 7-0 burst to pull away for the win. Paige Girardi led the way pouring in 28 points while Megan Desrats chipped in 10. For the Braves Mya Herman had 15 points.

Sydney Postell had 15 points to lead Churchville-Chili while Haley Leonard chipped in 13 in the win. Dansville had a four-game winning streak come to an end with the loss. Chelsie Tyler posted a strong game finishing with 20 points, five rebounds and one assist. Taylor Hamsher added 10 points, three boards, one assist and a steal. Aynsley Belcher scored nine points, seven rebounds and two blocks. Megan Tyler (5), Kali Meyer (4) and Eleni Mountzouros (2) rounded out the scoring for Danville.

Pal-Mac picked up its third consecutive double-digit point victory. Erika Mitchell led the way tallying 15 points, five rebounds and three steals. Marianna Hodgins chipped with 12 points, six rebounds and four blocks. Taryn Goodness also tallied a double-digit scoring effort with 11 points, five rebounds, six steals and two assists. Pittsford Mendon was led by Gabriela Esposito with 10 points while Paige Glantz finished with 7 points. Also scoring for the Vikings Natalie Mai (5), Emma Giordano (4), Camryn DelGallego (4), Kate Crowley (2). Rounding out the efforts for the Red Raiders were Georgia Wirth (8), Molly Seither (2), Julia Belanger (2), Aleigha D’Amato (2) and Elise Tome (1).

Ajayah Orr hit three threes and scored 21 points to lead the Li’l Irish to a fourth consecutive win all by double digits. Loren Green knocked down five triples in a 17-point effort while Molly O’Toole drilled four threes and provided 16 points in the win. Rounding out the scoring for Aquinas was Jade Harvey (7), Lia Bronco (5), Samiyah Wright (3) and Layla Germany (2). The Bombers were led by Zarriah Eldridge who scored nine points. Lebria Hickman (8), Aniyah Eldridge (6), Lily Funk (6), Gianna Romach (5), Aaliyah Carmichael (4) and Emma Romach (1) provided the rest of the points for East Rochester.

Mynderse pulled away in the fourth quarter to pick up its fourth consecutive victory and their third by double digits. Leading 38-31 heading into the final quarter, Haley Mosch accounted for 10 of her 18 points. The senior forward also grabbed nine rebounds in the game. Kelly Kohberger scored six of her 16 points in the final stanza and had five assists in the win. Rounding out the Mynderse scoring were Maddie Verkey (6), Bella Ferrara (6), Lauren McDermott (5), Jeniya Fils (5), Chelsea Korzeniewski (3) and Sophie Palladino (2). Jakiya Hill led Onondaga with 16 points and Shea Jackson added 11 points.

Senior forward Kylie Buckley led all scorers with 25 points including the 1,500th point of her career, and the Livonia girls’ basketball team advanced to the finals of the 2022 Great Livonia Shootout. The Marauders picking up their second double-digit point victory of the season. A pair of 20-point efforts led the way as Kate Campbell (21) and Elizabeth Brandt (20) both posted strong performances. The Cougars were led by AJ McIntyre’s 14 points while Natalie LaMar contributed 13 and Alana Ikeler added seven.

Sarina McDowell posted a double-double to lead the Braves to their second consecutive victory. McDowell finished with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Clyde-Savannah took a one point lead into halftime as foul trouble plagued both teams throughout. Neither team ever led by more than six, but Avon eventually was able to seal the deal late. Ella Dailey chipped in six for the Braves in the win. Jaida Larsen posted a 20 point game for the Golden Eagles. Kylie Taylor had a solid game as well with 9.

Central Square pulled away late to take down Geneseo and snap their two game win streak. Natalie Bush led the way pouring in 19 points and grabbing six rebounds. The Blue Devils were led by Mary Clair Rollins with 18 points and Emily Lamb with 10 points.

Emma Luckenbach added eight points and 10 rebounds in the win while Madison Coots had nine points and nine rebounds. Lola Coots accounted for five points and seven rebounds. Natalie Krelie collected four points, six rebounds and five steals. The Rams will take on Newark Valley in the tournament final on Thursday. Emily Robbins scored eight points to lead Wellsville. Natalie Adams (7), Lindsay Stuck (6), Averee Palmatier (5), Makenna Dunbar (5) and Sara Reitz (2) also scored for Wellsville.

In a back-and-forth contest, Cal-Mum outscored York 21-0 in the fourth quarter to claim the win in the first round of the tournament and advance to face Oakfield-Alabama in the finals. Ava Amorese led the charge with an 18 points including five in the fourth. The sophomore guard also grabbed five rebounds and handed out four assists in the win. Hazell Nickerson posted a double-double with 11 points and 19 rebounds and scored four points in the fourth. Marissa Roides added eight of her 13 points down the stretch. The Knights were led by Isabel Laney who had 12 points, three rebounds and two steals. Tessa Rodwell had eight points, nine rebounds and 2 steals. Cal-Mum will face Oakfield-Alabama in the championship round. York will face Wheatland-Chili in the consolation game.

Freshman Nellie Koronas led the way for the Yellowjackets with an all around effort of 11 points, 14 rebounds, and five steals. Jaelyn Morris topped all scorers with 13 points for Perry in the victory. Mount Morris was led by Maria Caceres Pou with 11 points in the losing effort.
