Frank Falleti Jr. recorded a 21-save shutout for the Notre Dame/Batavia United Fighting Irish to secure a victory against Starpoint Central. Ivan Milovidov scored twice for the Fighting Irish. Jameson Motyka led Notre Dame/Batavia with three points, a goal, and two assists. Brady Johnson tallied two assists while Noah Hudson picked up his first point of the season with an assist.

WILLIAMSVILLE EAST (VI) 3
Angelo Latore scored two goals and tallied two assists for a four-point performance to help the Penfield Patriots open up their season with a victory against Williamsville East. Sean Walsh registered four points as well with a goal and three assists. Mason Maksymiu and Thomas Obstarczyk scored the other two goals for the Patriots. Bobby Kane, Travis Bush, and Andrew Martin all tallied an assist.

Griffin Harvieux and Jacob Benne scored the goals for Canandaigua in the tie. Benne’s goal was his first varsity goal. Josh Barnes tallied both of the assists on the goals.

Christian Rumfola scored both of the Lakers’ goals in their defeat against Kenmore West. Dominic Agosto and Jack Ruter were credited with assists on Rumfola’s goals.

Evan Kopacz scored the overtime game-winner for the McQuaid Jesuit Knights to pick up a victory against last year’s Class A sectional champions the Victor Blue Devils. Kopacz also scored the game-tying goal for the Knights at the 3:19 mark of the second period. Tanner Rodogna scored the lone goal for the Blue Devils.

Mikey Valent scored five goals and tallied two assists for Spartan Hockey in their victory over West Seneca East. Ryan LaRose recorded five assists. Braylon Agnello scored his first varsity goal and also added an assist. Ayden Zugnoni registered four points with a goal and three assists. Grady Emo secured his first varsity win in net.

Mx McKay scored a goal and registered an assist to help the Churchville-Chili Saints to a season-opening victory against the Fairport Raiders. Trey Eberhart scored the game-winning goal at the 9:01 mark of the third period for the Saints. Parker Farnham scored Churchville’s opening goal of the contest. Axel Black scored both goals for the Raiders.

TJ Swinson tallied a hat-trick for the Webster Schroeder Warriors in a victory against Thousand Island. Scott Wagner scored the other goal for the Warriors.

Jack Burns scored a goal for the Titans in the first period. Trevor Veno, Carter Provenzano, Jason Tucker, and Brady Hall all recorded an assist for Webster Thomas.

Ivan Milovidov and Joe DiRisio tallied three helpers. Alex Johnson got on the scoresheet with an assist.
