Taylor Curyto’s second-half goal was the difference as Churchville-Chili advanced to the quarterfinals. Keelin Mittermeyer-Parkman set up the goal in the 47th minute. Unbeaten in their past six (5-0-1), the Saints will face fifth-seeded Irondequoit on Saturday.

Allie Finkbeiner scored an early goal, and Pittsford Sutherland clinched a spot in the quarterfinals. Finkbeiner’s deciding goal came in the seventh minute off of an assist from Meghan Joerger. Moran Pochtar made four saves for the shutout. HF-L’s Shaye Angelo stopped eight shots. Sutherland will face No. 3 Greece Athena on Saturday.

After watching his team play with the wind at its back for 40 minutes and come away with nothing to show on the scoreboard, Irondequoit girls’ soccer coach Josh Foster had a simple solution for his squad. Catherine Rogers scored the game-winning goal in the 96th minute, and Thomas secured a spot in the quarterfinals with its third win in the past four games. Sophie Esders assisted on the deciding goal. JJ Bay recorded two saves for the shutout.

NO. 3 GREECE ATHENA (11-4-1) 5
Wrianna Hudson’s hat trick and two assists led Greece Athena to its third straight win and a spot in the round of eight. Abby Ranaletta assisted on Hudson’s two goals to open the game in the eight and twelfth minute. Shortly after, Ranalletta herself added to the lead in the 15th minute. Ellie Lombardo and Hudson then totaled the Trojans scoring tally to five. In goal for Greece Athena, Emilee Montagliano had twelve saves.

NO. 2 SPENCERPORT (13-1-2) 9
Eight different players scored for Spencerport as the Rangers pulled away for their ninth straight victory. Emily Peacock opened the game putting the ball in the back of the net in the ninth minute, assisted by Emma Watson to get the Rangers started. Lindsay Lenhard scored twice. MacKenzie Wood, Liana Tata, Aleena Solana, Anjolina Rotoli, McKenna Hussa, and Emma Watson added a goal apiece. Spencerport will meet No. 7 Our Lady of Mercy in the quarterfinals.

Caroline D’Anza opened the game with a hat trick to help Mercy advance with its third win in the past four games. Keira Dall collected three assists with two on D’Anza scores and the last on a goal from Elizabeth DeHond. Mary Sarah Hanna capped the night off with a goal in the 76th minute. Madeline Oleksyn assisted on Hanna’s goal. In goal for the Monarchs, Bella Mitrano recorded six saves. Mercy will face No. 2 Spencerport in the quarterfinals.

NO. 9 ARKPORT/CANASERAGA (5-12-0) 1
NO. 8 ALFRED-ALMOND (5-8-3) 3
Ali Hurd’s two first-half goals helped Alfred-Almond clinch a spot in the quarterfinals. Hurd opened the game, putting the ball in the back of the net off an assist from Chloe Hann and followed that effort up with an unassisted goal. Isabel Badeau gave the Eagles an insurance goal. Gracen Dusinberre recorded seven saves in the win. Alfred-Almond will face top-seeded Fillmore in the quarterfinals.

NO. 7 HARLEY-ALLENDALE-COLUMBIA (7-9-1) 6
Olivia Strader, AJ Williams and Katherine Winchester each had two goals to spark the Wolves. HAC scored all of its goals in the first half, beginning with Olivia Strader on a Katherine Winchester assist. Winchester shortly followed up her assist with a goal of her own. HAC will play No. 2 Genesee Valley/Belfast in the quarterfinals.

NO. 8 ANDOVER/WHITESVILLE (2-11-3) 1
Maddi Barona Aiala’s 40th minute goal was difference for Andover/Whitesville. Kennedy Bledsoe assisted on the game-winning goal. Andover/Whitesville will face top-seeded Northstar Christian in the quarterfinals.
