Addison McDonough and Tessa Patchen connected on second-half goals and Churchville-Chili handed Spencerport its first loss to a Section V side since the 2019 season. Tied at half, McDonough and Patchen gave the Saints a commanding 3-1 lead. Emily McCane made 16 saves for the win. Amelia Breton opened Churchville’s scoring with an unassisted effort. Keelin Mittermeyer-Parkman and Jenna Northrup collected an assist apiece. Liana Tata scored both of the Spencerport goals. Aleena Solano and Ilena Cheruiyot each had helpers. Cate Burns stopped 12 shots for the Rangers. Spencerport, winners of six straight sectional titles, had gone unbeaten in 40 consecutive matches against local teams. Prior to Thursday’s setback, the Rangers last loss came against Webster Thomas (1-0) on October 16th of 2019. That defeat at the hands of the Titans was the second of two straight at the time for the Rangers.

Olivia Pilato opened up the scoresheet for Hilton with a goal in the 16th minute. Hailey Van Zeilen followed up with a goal in the 22nd minute of the second half to give Hilton the edge over Rush-Henrietta. Sierra Bianchi recorded five saves on the afternoon from the back of the net for Hilton.

Penfield recorded its third straight win and its second five-goal game of the season. Victor’s goal came from McKenna Reh off an assist from Emily Galewski in the 30th minute of the second half.

Izzy Alexandre’s goal in the 13th minute was the difference for Brighton. Maggie Cregan assisted on the score, while Brighton keeper Charlotte Tickell recorded four saves on the evening.

Leah Marcell’s goal off an Morgan Tara assist was the difference for Webster Schroeder as the Warriors got their third win of the season. Canandaigua keeper Payton Malec recorded 13 saves against Schroeder’s offensive attack. Megan Fry pitched a shutout for the winning side with three saves.

Maeve Steckley struck twice for Irondequoit in the second half in minute 19 and 24. Kayla Heister began the scoring spree towards the end of the first half in the 36th minute.

Catherine Rogers scored four of Webster Thomas’s six goals, all in the first half. Four different Webster Thomas players, Olivia Smith, Addison Schaeffer, Samantha Cullen, and Lia Gugino, assisted on Rogers scores in the 19th, 21st, 35th, and 38th minutes. Rogers additionally opened up the game with an assist to Sophie Esders in the third minute. Esders scored her second goal of the game in the fourth minute of the second half. On the defensive side of the field, goalkeepers JJ Bay, Mayli Nitsch, and Makenna Curry combined for a total of four saves.

Izabel Woloszuk started the night for Honeoye Falls-Lima with a goal in the 25th minute. Taylor Blythe capped off the night with a goal in the 17th minute of the second half off a Madeline Mehring for the home team. In the net, Emily White led HFL’s defensive effort with five saves.

Emily Silverstein scored in the 20th minute off an assist from Eva Costanzo to give Aquinas the early lead. Mari Morreale evened the score for Mercy in the 36th minute on a Sofia Guerrieri assisted goal. Mercy’s and Aquinas’ goalkeepers, Bella Mitrano and Kate Sproul, both played the full 100 minutes with seven saves each.

Alison Fowler led Geneseo’s offensive effort with two goals on the evening. Fowler’s first goal game in the ninth minute, giving Geneseo the lead going into halftime. Warsaw evened the score off a Chloe Hubbard goal on a Taylor Howard assist. Hubbard’s goal came in the 35th minute in the second half. A minute later Fowler scored the deciding goal for Geneseo off an Bridget McMaster assist. On the defensive side of the field, Hailey Degroff recorded eight saves for Warsaw while Caroline Capel had a game-high nine saves for Geneseo.

Ali Hurd and Noelle Emerson both scored in the second half to help give Alfred-Almond their second straight win. Emerson scored off an assist from Isabel Badeau to close the deal for the Eagles. The tandem of Alexis Rao and Gracen Dusinberre combined for 13 saves on the afternoon.

Avoca-Prattsburgh picked up the road victory, scoring three goals throughout the game runtime. Hammondsport two goals came from Zayda Braun off an assist from Danica Dresser in the twelfth minute, while Gabrielle Dolye assisted Sam Pratt on a goal in the 20th minute of the second half. Hammondsport keeper LaZell Locey had a game-high twelve saves on the night.
