Hilton nabbed its ninth win in its last 10 behind James Capellupo’s strong six innings. Capellupo earned the win with seven strikeouts over six innings. The junior allowed six hits and one run (unearned) over 81 pitches. Capellupo helped himself out at the plate with a 2-for-3 night that included a solo home run in the fourth inning. The pitcher finished the game with two RBI and two runs scored. Drew Bateman closed the final inning with one strikeout. Luke Schofield helped lead the Cadet offense with a team-high three RBI. Schofield ended 2-for-4 with a run scored. Carter Clark recorded a 3-for-3 game including a double, two RBI, and one run scored. Brady Gerig ripped a double to go along with an RBI and two runs scored. Michael Whelehan, Steve Kraus, Jeffery Broadnax, and Michael Heise all had an RBI for Hilton. Cooper Romich drove in the lone run for the Saints.

The Blue Devils grabbed their eighth straight win behind a balk that scored Hayden Watt for the game-winning run in the seventh. Zach Richards paced the Brockport offense with a 3-for-3 game. The junior plated two and scored once. Jacob Falvey, K Eden Laureano, and Jacob Cole all drove in a run for Brockport. Cooper Hassall got the win on the mound for the Blue Devils with his perfect seventh inning. The senior struck out the side in the top of the seventh. Cole started on the bump and went the first four. The senior allowed three runs (two earned) over three hits and five walks while striking out four. Brayden Scaccia worked two innings in relief and struck out two. Hassall added two hits in three at-bats with a run scored. Andrew Wilson added two base-knocks and a run scored. Connor Osier had two hits and plated two which led Greece Athena, and Sammy Saucke drove in a run.

Aiden Cook paced the Penfield offense with two hits in three at-bats featuring two RBI and one run. Alexander Young and Samuel Guiffrida both collected two hits. Young finished 2-for-3 with a triple alongside two runs scored and an RBI. Guiffrida had two doubles with an RBI and a run scored. Aiden Pellow had the final Penfield RBI. Thomas DiFranco threw two shutout innings for the Patriots in the start, and Jacob Weiss hurled the final five innings and earned the win. Weiss allowed two runs on five hits while striking out two. The Patriots nabbed their third straight win.

Greece Arcadia ended a two-game skid behind an offensive explosion that featured eight hits and three walks. Dominic Zona led the Titans at the plate with two hits in four at-bats and a game-high three RBI. Tyler Reichert went 2-for-4 including a double with two RBI and a run scored once. Senior Aaron Ford concluded the game 2-for-4 with an RBI and he crossed home twice. Robert Rappold drove in two while hitting 1-for-3. Robert Walter knocked in a run while scoring twice. Parker Drees, Zona, and Reichart combined to strike out eight and limit the Olympia/Odyssey offense to three hits.

Matthew Papenfuss and Aaron Crunick combined to limit Honeoye Falls-Lima to one run on six hits. Papenfuss got the start on the hill and went the first 3.2 innings. The junior struck out four and allowed one run on two hits. Crunick worked the final 3.1 innings and struck out one while allowing four hits. Ryan Mohammed led the Braves with a game-high two RBI alongside a 1-for-2 night with a double and a run scored. A.J. Debalso went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored from the leadoff spot, and Kenyon Mahoney ended 1-for-1 with a run scored and an RBI. Sam Boock recorded a hit and scored a run.

East advanced to its 17th straight City Championship game behind a trio that had three RBI apiece. Miguel Matos went 2-for-2 with three RBI and two runs scored, Michael Conrow finished 1-for-1 with three RBI and a run scored, and Kyle Markham ended 1-for-1 with three RBI and two runs scored. Conrow also hurled three shutout innings with four strikeouts. Emille Diaz added a 3-for-3 game to go along with two RBI and three runs scored.

Brody Froman and Connor Gresens both plated two as Irondequoit grabbed its third win in its last four games. Froman went 4-for-4 with two RBI and three runs scored from the leadoff spot. Gresens finished with two RBI and one hit. Brian Tisa collected three hits in four at-bats to go along with an RBI and two runs scored. Zach Haight added two hits including a double and two runs scored. Constantino Toermini, Leo Tellier, and Kip Bertram combined to strike out 10 for Irondequoit. For Aquinas, Aiden Morris went 3-for-4 with a pair of RBI, and CJ Mangone went 2-for-4 with an RBI.

James Connelly IV finished 2-for-3 with two RBI and two runs scored to pace Gates Chili which erased a six-run deficit to win. Charles Healey doubled, walked twice and scored two runs for the Spartans. Kolby Landis-Clinton went 1-for-2 with a walk, two run scored and an RBI out of the leadoff spot. Aaron Henry singled, walked twice, scored a run and drove in two. Alan Henry singled and scored while Angelo Morales singled, scored twice and drove in a run. Spencerport’s Kyle Milburn was 3-for-4 and finished a triple shy of the cycle. Milburn drove in a run and scored twice. Zach Lamberton was 2-for-3 with a triple, two RBI and a run scored. Shaun Cannon and Anthony Di Marco both went 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI and a run scored for the Rangers. Nick Freville had two hits including a double with an RBI and a run scored. Scott Zyra also had a two-bagger for Spencerport. Joe Marcello singled and scored twice.

Andrew Haugh and Connor Cronin paced the Victor offense with three hits each. Both finished the game 3-for-4 with three RBI and two runs scored. Ty Arnold, Zach Prior, and Carter Fink all had two hits. This marked the fourth straight win for the Blue Devils.

Sophomore Michael Prentice paced Wayne to its fourth win in its last five games with a team-high two RBI. Prentice drove in Teigan Jeffery in the fifth inning with a ground ball, and scored Jeffery in the third inning with a fielders choice. Tyler Mudge drove in a run and went 1-for-3, and Ryan Becker collected the other RBI for Wayne with a 1-for-3 game. Brady Ruffell collected one hit in two at-bats and crossed home twice. Brandon Benkovics got the win on the mound for Wayne with 11 strikeouts over 4.1 innings pitched. The freshman allowed two hits and two runs (both unearned). Kyle Tomaselli closed the gamer with 2.2 shutout innings featuring three strikeouts. Zach Herd and Maxwell Youngman had the lone hits for Newark.

Henry Shutts tripled and doubled at the plate while striking out 10 on the mound as Gananda won for the fifth time in the past six games. Shutts finished 2-for-3 with a walk, two RBI and three runs scored. The eighth-grader surrendered one hit and one walk in the five-inning game. Andrew Gleason was 2-for-4 with a double, a home run, two RBI and a run scored in the win. Luke Ciprich contributed two hits and a run scored. Jack and Aiden Giancursio both singled, scored a run and drove in another. Ethan Kuntz singled, walked twice, drove in two and scored once. Matt Gleason, Peyton Connor Tristen Lucchesi and AJ Fiorvanti singled and scored a run apiece for Gananda. Ash Vandergrift had the lone Marion hit.

Livonia got its sixth straight win behind 20 hits that produced 20 runs for the Bulldogs. Alex Benitez, Jack Kearney, Luke Stewart, and Jake Watkins all had three hits which led the way. Wyatt Raponi and Tom Stewart both added two hits. Livonia scored seven in the first inning and 11 runs in the second to put the game away. Jack Kearney pitched the first three innings and allowed two hits and struck out three. Connor Feehan pitched two innings and struck out five.

Hornell nabbed its fifth straight win behind five strong innings on the mound from Griffyn Baker. Baker struck out 12 and allowed two runs (one earned) over five hits and three walks. Nick Oyer and Wyatt Argentieri both went 2-for-5 with a triple, an RBI, and two runs scored.

Kendall manufactured its fifth win in a row behind a two-run seventh inning that walked it off. Zach Barrett led the inning off with a walk. Colby Hughes moved him over with a sacrifice bunt, and then Rueben Marquess doubled which tied the game at two. Marquess would later come in to score the game-winning run on a passed ball.

Paul Goodness hurled a complete game shutout that featured 10 strikeouts, and Goodness only allowed two hits. This marked the 12th time Palmyra-Macedon has shut out an opponent this season. Chris Finocchario led the offense for Pal-Mac with a 2-for-4 game featuring two RBI. Ian Goodness drove in two runs and scored once while recording a hit. Christian Morrison went 2-for-4 with an RBI, and Will Caffyn drove in a run. Noah Brooks and Paul Goodness both recorded a double. Palmyra-Macedon is the only undefeated team left in Section V.

Waterloo earned the win with no hits. Connor McCann and Hayden Linehan scored the two runs for Waterloo. McCann got on with a walk, and Linehan got on base with a hit by pitch. Devin Mulvey-Salerno got the win win the mound with a complete game shutout featuring five strikeouts. Brady Bouchard pitched six innings for Penn Yan and struck out 13 while allowing no hits. Liam Chapman had the only two hits of the game for Penn Yan by finishing 2-for-3.

Colton Yasses collected two hits at the plate and hurled 3.2 innings as Oakfield-Alabama collected its fourth straight win. Yasses finished the game 2-for-3 with two runs scored, and earned the win on the mound while striking out four. Porter had a base-knock and an RBI to go along with 2.1 shutout innings with three strikeouts. Bodie Hyde and Bradyen Smith both had two hits. Hyde finished 2-for-4 with a double and three RBI, and Smith drove in three himself while going 2-for-3. Cooper Colantonio had a triple and an RBI, and Gaige Armbrewster ended 1-for-2 with two runs scored and two stolen bases.

Jake Sherwood took a no-hitter into the sixth inning but it was broken up with a two-out single. Sherwood settled for the win while striking 10 and walking none. Gavin Schrader, Ryan Fitzpatrick, and Jimmy Fanara each had multi-hit games for Notre Dame Batavia. Fitzpatrick crossed home plate three times, Schrader had an RBI, and Fanara finished with three RBI and two runs scored.

Camden Reed delivered a game-winning single that plated Alex Carnes as Caledonia-Mumford moved to 10 games above .500. Reed earned the win on the mound with eight strong innings that featured six strikeouts. Reed finished 2-for-5 at the plate with two RBI. Kyle Wade drove in three runs while going 2-for-4, Luke Donaghue plated two and had one hit, and Casey Decker went 1-for-3 with a pair of runs driven in. Michael and Andrew Rowland combined to go 4-for-9 with three RBI and three runs scored for Avon.
