Canandaigua scored four runs in the first inning behind a two-run single by Nate Barone and it turned out to be all the Braves needed for their 10th win. Sam Boock drove in the first run for the Braves with a double that plated A.J. Debalso. Josh Barnes scored Matthew Pawlicki on a sacrifice fly, and Boock and Sam Bement scored on the single from Barone. Debalso and Barone both finished the game 2-for-3. Matthew Papenfuss got the win on the mound with a complete game effort. Papenfuss struck out 11 and allowed three runs (one earned) on six hits. Frank Grad led Spencerport with a team-high two RBI, and Shaun Cannon picked up the other RBI for the Rangers.

Steven Kraus paced Hilton to a high-scoring win with a game-high three RBI. Kraus finished 2-for-3 including two doubles and one run scored. Michael Whelehan went 3-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored from the leadoff spot. James Capellupo and Luke Schofield both ended the game 2-for-4, Capellupo picked up an RBI. Michael Heise added three hits in three at-bats alongside two RBI and three runs scored from the eight-hole. Capellupo got the start for the Cadets and threw the first four innings. The right-hander struck out seven while allowing three hits and two runs (zero earned). Carter Clark got the final nine outs and struck out three. Owen Murphy and Will Stanek drove in runs for Fairport.

Connor Gresens and Samuel Lessard both drove in two as Irondequoit reached double-digit wins. Gresens finished 2-for-3 with a double and and Lessard ended 1-for-1 with a run scored, a double, and two walks. Brody Froman went 3-for-4 with three runs scored and an RBI from the leadoff spot, and Connor Springer went 2-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored. Brian Tisa added two hits for the Eagles. Giovanni Cassetta threw the first three innings for Irondequoit, and Kip Bertram went the next four innings and struck out seven. Vincent Lucuszyn knocked in two of the runs for Gates Chili.

Bryce Tyndell had a game-high three RBI which led Brockport on the offensive end. Tyndell finished 1-for-2 with a walk. Zach Richards drove in two with one base-knock. David D’Ambrosia went 1-for-3 with an RBI and a runs scored, and Cooper Hassall collected two hits in four at-bats alongside an RBI and a run scored. Hassall earned the win on the mound with five and one-third innings of work. The senior struck out eight and allowed five hits. Jacob Cole worked the final one and two-third innings while striking out three. Brennen Russo paced the Eastridge offense with two walks and two RBI.

Anthony Shortino, Evan Putney, and Dominic Morsch combined to limit Webster Thomas’s offense to six hits and one earned run. Shortino got the start and went the first four. He earned the win by striking out three and allowing four. Putney hurled an inning in relief, and Morsch got the six-out save and allowed no runs. Daniel Derleth paced the Saints offense with two RBI and a double. Shortino drove in a run to help himself out. Kaleb Cieslinski went 2-for-3 with a run scored and Cooper Romich went 1-for-3 with two runs scored.

Max Friedlander started on the mound for Victor, and collected two hits at the plate to lead the Blue Devils back to .500. Friedlander struck out three over four innings and allowed three runs (two earned). Friedlander finished 2-for-2 with a double, two runs scored, and two RBI. Matt Brady had the game-winning hit in the sixth with a triple that plated Friedlander from first with two outs. Brady scored on a wild pitch to increase the lead to two. Carter Fink earned the win for Victor with a strong relief showing that included three strikeouts. For Penfield, Collin Crowley went 2-for-4 with a run scored and Jonathan Hickey was 2-for-3.

Rush-Henrietta scored six runs in the final frame thanks to eight errors as the Royal Comets moved to two games above .500. Joe Grzeskowiak, Tobey Wright, Dollon Kelly, and Alex Garcia all drove in runs for Rush-Henrietta. Cameron Richards, Connor, Nguyen, Seamus Devlin, and Alex Garcia each had hits for the Royal Comets. Rush-Henrietta finished with only five hits. Dillon Kelly went the first three and one-third innings, and Evan Brock went the next three and two-third innings. Brock got the win and struck out five.

Ben Comeau and Andrew Kotrides collected two hits apiece as Brighton rallied from an early deficit for a win in Monroe County Division II action. Comeau finished 2-for-3 with three RBI and a run scored while Kotrides was 2-for-3 with a walk, RBI and run scored. Matt Howe and AJ Marcella both singled, walked, scored twice and drove in a run. Jackson Heider was 1-for-2 with two walks and two runs scored in the win. Ellis Einbinder singled, walked, drove in a run and scored another. Nolan Bonnell hurled 3.1 scoreless innings in relief to pick up the win. Jack Scott worked a scoreless seventh for the save. Odyssey/Olympia’s James Schlueter finished 3-for-5 on the day including an RBI single in a seven-run third when the Griffins grabbed a 9-7 lead. Ty VanEpps singled, drove in two runs and scored another. Tyson Roundtree and Nolan Krautwurst both singled, drove in a run and scored twice. Tommy Rebis drove in a run with a base hit. Chris Coriano singled, walked and scored. Dom Braun drove in a run with a base hit while Ray Wetmore collected a single, walk RBI and a run scored.

Xavier Carbonel and Ethan Ford drove in two runs apiece while Nate Weber hurled a complete game as HF-L won for the fourth time in five games. Weber struck out six. The junior allowed three earned runs on seven hits and three walks. Batavia’s Jesse Reinhart struck out eight and allowed one hit in the loss. Reinhart and Mekhi Fortes had an RBI single apiece. Vincent Grazioplene finished 3-for-4 with two doubles. Cole Grazioplene drove in a run with a double.

Aiden Stewart finished 3-for-3 on the night including a pair of hits in an eight-run third to lead McQuaid. The senior second baseman led the frame with a single. His two-out double (one of his two, two-baggers in the game) plated a pair of runs and he went on to score the final run of the stanza. Tanner DeGrazia, CJ Phelps and Will Taylor each delivered RBI hits in the inning. Phelps also went 3-for-3. DeGrazia and Taylor both drove in two runs and scored another. Will Russotti walked and scored in the win. Zach Allen walked and had an RBI. Matt Wilmarth struck out four over five scoreless innings to pick up the win. The sophomore allowed two hits and three walks. Sutherland’s Tyler Mullin finished 2-for-4 on the day. Max Vorrasi singled, drove in two runs and scored another. Paul Byrne and Noah Littlefield both singled and scored in the game. Cole Mann walked twice and scored. Cole Pringle singled and drove in a run. Alex Renzi walked and had an RBI.

Scanlon’s three-run home run capped a second inning that saw the Li’l Irish send 17 to the plate and score 12 times. Scanlon finished with five RBI in the game. Walker drove in three. CJ Mangone struck out 12 and fashioned a two-hitter with three walks. At the plate, Mangone doubled, walked, drove in a run and scored twice. Patrick Altpeter was 1-for-2 with two walks, two RBI and two runs scored. Max Calleri singled and scored. Lucas Leone and Robert McCullough both singled, walked and scored a run. Justin Rodriguez was 2-for-4. Justin Rodriguez doubled and drove in a run. Moses Aponte plated a run with a double. Abel Austin struck out four over 2.2 innings of work. Rodriguez fanned four over 2.1 innings of work. Samuel Ramos paced Wilson going 2-for-2 with two RBI.

Palmyra-Macedon remained unbeaten behind an offense that combined for 17 hits. Noah Brooks went 3-for-3 with a double and three runs scored, Tyler Wolcott finished 3-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored. Isiah Stephens, Chris Finocchario, Will Caffyn, and Christian Morrison all recorded two hits. Stephens drove in three runs and Finocchario plated two. Morrison hurled a complete game for the Red Raiders. Morrison allowed two hits and one run while striking out three.

Wayne put up a four-spot in the fourth inning behind a three-run double from Michael Prentice. The left fielder ended the game 1-for-4 with three RBI and a run scored. Prentice came around to score the final run of the fourth inning on a single from Tyler Mudge. Mudge finished his night 1-for-4 with two RBI. Brady Ruffell crossed home plate twice while going 1-for-2 in the leadoff spot. Kyle Tomaselli, Jared Dier, and Ronald Cassano all had base-knocks for the Eagles. Brandon Benkovic got the start and the win for Wayne with a strong four and two-third innings featuring 11 strikeouts. Benkovic allowed one hit and two runs (one earned). Mudge closed the game with two and one-third perfect innings with five strikeouts.

Grady Grove hurled a complete game with 10 strikeouts while allowing three runs (two earned) off four hits which led Naples to its fifth win in its last six games. Jackson Brahm got the Naples offense going with a two out two-run double. Trauggot Uhlen added two hits and two RBI in his first game on varsity. Grove added a two RBI single at the plate. For Keshequa, Nathan Thayer tripled, Tyler Mallabor had an RBI single, and Boone Douglass had a double.

Bryceton Berry, Ryan Fitzpatrick, and Jay Antinore paced the Notre Dame Batavia offense with two RBI each. Berry went 2-for-4 with two runs scored, Fitzpatrick went 1-for-3, and Antinore finished 1-for-1 with a run scored. Gavin Schrader chipped in two hits in three at-bats featuring an RBI and two runs scored. Fitzpatrick pitched the full six innings and allowed two hits in the shutout. The sophomore stuck out seven and walked one.

Mynderse trailed 5-0 before knotting it up at five with five-run fifth inning. Will Korzeniewski delivered his second straight walk off with a single that plated Eric Guevara. Guevara led off the eighth with a walk and got bunted over by Ethan Hilimire. Korzeniewski finished 2-for-4 with three RBI and run scored. Jayden Ryrko went 2-for-3 with a double to go alongside with one RBI and a run scored, Morgan Major had a hit with an RBI and a run scored, and Blake Petrocci was 2-for-3 with an RBI. D.J. Bruni got the start for Mynderse and threw the first four innings while striking out seven. Guevara went the next four innings while striking out five.

Jamel Crowder led an offensive explosion for Avoca/Prattsburgh with a team-high four RBI. Crowder finished 2-for-5. Macoy Putnam, Pacey Hopkins, Josiah Stilson and Haden Abbott all drove in two runs. Putnam, Stilson, and Hopkins all collected two hits. Sawyer Devoe tacked on with an RBI. Abbott finished the game with five strikeouts over the full five innings.

After trailing 7-0, Geneseo scored five in the fifth inning and seven in the sixth inning to win its third straight and fourth in the past five. Wayland-Cohocton’s Markus Brehm finished 3-for-4 with two RBI.

AJ Fiorvanti finished 2-for-3 on the day and drove in three runs to pace Gananda to its second straight win. Fiorvanti’s two-run double in the third staked Gananda to a 4-0 lead. Andrew Gleason went 2-for-3 and scored twice in the win. Henry Shutts doubled and crossed home on two occasions. Shutts struck out 13 in a complete-game effort. The eighth-grader allowed six hits and two walks without giving up an earned run. Ethan Cramer and Braydn Orbaker connected on back-to-back singles in the Sodus fifth when the Spartans took advantage of two errors to push across a pair of runs. Cramer and Orbaker both went 2-for-3 on the night. Evan Laird and Jacob Laird had a single and run scored apiece. Brady McCarthy hurled four no-hit innings in relief for Sodus. McCarthy struck out five while allowing one walk.

Graham Cahill struck out six and did not allow an earned run in a complete-game effort as Fillmore won its eighth straight game. Cahill surrendered six hits and one walk.
