Riley Gonzalez had four hits and six RBI as Sutherland rebounded from its first loss of the season. Tia Lehtonen plated Gabby Lyons and Hannah Glanton with a double to spark a six-run second inning as the Knights eventually led 13-1 after four innings. Lyons finished 3-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored in the game. Glanton walked twice, had a hit and scored three runs. Julianna Lyons and Addy Bernas also had multiple hits. Seventh-grader Petra Hunt struck out six and allowed one earned run in a complete-game effort. Addison Bernas went 2-for-4 with a walk, two RBI and three runs scored. Julianna Lyons doubled, drove in a run, walked and scored twice. Eastridge’s Emma Johnson homered and scored twice.

Marlayna Cartagena struck out nine and hurled a complete-game six-hitter as Irondequoit won its fourth straight game. Cartagena added a hit and an RBI at the plate while Emma Rovet finished 2-for-3 with an RBI double for the Eagles.
