RIT junior forward Madison Corso and graduate student back Morgan Monteith each scored a goal to lead the Tigers past visiting Skidmore, 2-0, in the quarterfinals of the Liberty League Women’s Soccer Tournament on Tuesday.

Corso’s goal came in the 29th minute off a scramble in front of the Thoroughbred’s net, the assist to freshman Olivia Harris.

That lead held into the fifth minute of the second half when Jessica Gomez  settled a corner kick for Monteith for the finish.

Fourth-seeded RIT advances to play top-seeded William Smith on Saturday, Nov. 6 at 11:00 a.m. in Geneva.

The winner plays the winner of Ithaca and Union in the Liberty League Championship match, scheduled for Sunday at 1:30 p.m.
