University of Wyoming commit Lily Brongo scored one of her three goals in the first half when Spencerport jumped to a 5-nil lead heading into the break. Emma Watson, Bre Dehond, Lindsay Lenhard and Jamie Keens also found the back of the net in the first 40 minutes. Aleena Solano finished with a goal and two assists. DeHond and Lenhard added a helper apiece as did Shannon Fitzgerald and Ruby DePalma. Jamie Keens added a marker. Cate Burns made three saves for the shutout – Spencerport’s ninth clean sheet in the past 10 games. The Rangers will face-off against Mercy in the Class A1 semifinals. The two teams met in the 2020 Class A final.

Caroline D’Anza delivered the game-winning goal in the 70th minute as Mercy advanced to the semifinals. Sissy Smith had the first goal for Mercy in the 29th minute on an assist from Isabella D’Anza. Caroline received an assist from Haley Edwards on the game-winner. Caitlin DeHond had two saves in goal. Mercy will play top-seeded Spencerport in the semifinals.

After trailing 1-0 through 25 minutes, the Brighton Bruins scored four unanswered goals to advance to the semifinals. Izzy Alexandre netted the tying goal on a Finn Cregan assist. Cregan put the Bruins on top in the 52nd minute on an assist from Dilara Lenio. Maggie Cregan extended the lead to two in the 68th minute, and Pauny Khounpachamsy capped the games scoring in the 72nd minute. The Bruins will play the winner of Webster Schroeder and Churchville-Chili.

After 100 minutes of 0-0 game, Churchville-Chili advanced to the semifinals through penalty kicks. Goalkeeper Emily McCane had 13 saves for the Saints. Amelia Breton, Olivia Hogan, Riley Cullen, Keelin Mittermeyer-Parkman, and Jenna Northup all connected in the penalty shootout. The Saints will play Brighton in the semifinals.

Wrianna Hudson recorded a hat trick to lead number one seed Greece Athena to the semifinals. Hudson scored the first two goals of the game in the first and fourth minutes. Hudson assisted the Trojans’ third goal of the game scored by Abby Ranalletta, and netted her final goal in the 35th minute. Ranalletta added a goal seconds after Hudson’s final goal to finish the first-half scoring. Isabella Astudillo added two goals in the second half, and Julie Welling finished Greece Athena’s scoring. The Trojans will play Pittsford Sutherland in the semifinals.

Laura Bennett accounted for both Sutherland goals as the Knights moved on to the semifinals. Bennett assisted Tiana Schantz for the first goal of the game in the 10th minute. The senior scored her own goal in the 70th minute on an assist from Ella Wilmot to put the game away. Goalkeeper Moran Pochtar recorded three saves in the shutout. Sutherland will play top-seeded Greece Athena in the semifinals.

Rachel Lee netted two goals which paced the Vikings on to the semifinals. Lee scored both of her goals in the first half, with one assist from Sydney Anderson and the other from Lauren DiMarzo. Bridget Merkel had the final Mendon goal in the second half following an assist from Nora Winkler. Leah Shaffer made six saves in goal. Mendon will square-off against Brockport in the semifinals.

Brockport girls soccer hadn’t played a game in a week heading into the Class A2 girls soccer quarterfinals against Honeoye Falls-Lima. Instead of coming out flat, the Blue Devils attacked all night, topping the Cougars 5-0 to advance to the semifinals. READ MORE.

Leah Green advanced the Bulldogs as she accounted for both Honeoye goals. Green assisted Alexa Colon for the only goal of the first half, and Green scored the game-winning goal in the second half on an assist from Emily Russo. Mickayla Scheele had one save in goal. Honeoye will play unbeaten Fillmore in the semifinals.

Abigail Marotta scored a goal and assisted one as Marion moved on. Marotta got Marion on the board with a goal assisted by Hannah Roegiers. Marotta assisted Abby Conover for Marion’s second goal, and Payton Walters netted the final Marion goal of the game. Alyse Buirch recorded three saves in goal. Marion will play Wheatland-Chili in the semifinals.

Gabrielle Terhune headlined an offensive-explosion for Andover/Whitesville with a team-high three goals. Terhune scored the first two goals of the game, and ended her night with another goal in the first half. Rachel Jackson and Zoey Lee were the only other Wildcats to score multiple goals. Adrianna Buchholz, Kennedy Bledsoe, Ava Grice, and Maria Rilboa all added a goal. Brynn Scholl had one save in the shutout. The Wildcats will play Avoca/Prattsburgh in the semifinals.

Avoca/Prattsburgh stayed alive behind Riley Stowe’s game-winner. Olivia Kilmer had the first goal of the game in the second minute after an assist from Stowe. The senior had the game-winner unassisted in the first minute of the second half. Emily Hammond recorded six saves in goal for Avoca/Prattsburgh. The Tigers/Vikings will play Andover/Whitesville in the semifinals.

Jonathan Resnick found the back of the net twice as the Cadets moved on to the semifinals. Alec Smith scored the only goal of the first half unassisted. Resnick had his first goal of the game to begin the second half on a Kyle Cunningham assist. Cody Cavuoto added one before Resnick scored the final goal of the game. Smith picked up the assist. The Cadets will play Penfield in the semifinals.

Marco Ferri and Keaton Barrett led Fairport to the next round with two goals apiece. Paul Murgoci got the Red Raiders on the board in the second minute, and then Ferri scored two goals in a row in the 19th and 25th minutes. Myles Palmer assisted both Ferri goals, and had his own goal to close out the first half. Barrett scored the first two goals of the second half in the 40th and 42nd minutes. Daniel van Aardt scored the final goal of the game in the 73rd minute on an assist from Chris Collins. Fairport will square-off with top-seeded McQuaid in the Class AA semifinals.

Liam Khork netted three goals as top-seeded Hornell moved on to the semifinals. Khork had two goals in the first half and one in the second half. Shawn Rose, Wyatt Argentieri, Cody Riekofski, and Ian Ashworth all chipped in a goal. Hornell will play Livonia in the semifinals.

Shane Melead scored all three Livonia goals as the Bulldogs moved onto the semifinals. Melead scored his first goal in the 10th minute on an assist from Bryce Hoang, and scored his second in the 20th minute on a Connor Feehan assist. Melead finished his scoring output in the 43rd minute following a pass from Jackson McEnerney. Livonia will play top-seeded Hornell in the semifinals.

Keefer Calkins scored three goals and assisted one as Bath-Haverling remains unbeaten and advances to the semifinals. DJ Smith had the first Ram goal of the game in the 32nd minute, and Calkins had his first in the 37th. Braden Yartym rounded out the first half scoring with a goal in the 39th minute. Calkins assisted Zach Musso for the first goal of the second half before scoring two in a row in the 46th and 48th minutes. Brayden Noteware and Bram Pomplas finished the scoring for Bath-Haverling. The Rams will play Bishop Kearney in the semifinals.

Ethan Bennett advanced fourth-seeded Geneseo with a goal in the first overtime period. Will Schiener had the lone Blue Devil goal in regulation on an assist from Sebri Fantauzzo. Jack Rubeck assisted the game-winner in overtime. Geneseo will play eighth-seeded Bloomfield in the Class C1 semifinals.

A penalty kick converted in the 51st minute broke a scoreless tie and ultimately served as a wake-up call. Keshequa will play Bolivar-Richburg in the semifinals.

Logan Ayers provided the difference as Bradford/Dundee moves on to the semifinals. Aidan Webster had the first goal in the sixth minute, and Aiden Monell added on for the final goal of the first half in the 29th minute. Ayers had the eventual game-winning goal in the 50th minute. Bradford/Dundee will play Kendall in the semifinals.
