After a two hour weather delay, the game was called as Hilton advanced to the semifinals. Caitlyn Nelson and Delaney Goodenow scored the two Cadet goals. The first goal Nelson scored unassisted, and Goodenow’s second goal came on a penalty kick thanks to Nelson drawing the foul. Hilton will play Penfield in the semifinals.

A dozen different goal scorers led Rush-Henrietta into the semifinals. Avery Roberts and Catrina Rowe were the only players with multiple goals. Kaitlyn Gregg, Alivia Day, Aleysia Pampoukidis, Ashyln Roberts, Nikole Stone, Lena Cox, Miah Lathrop, Dahlia Bryce, Emma Boyce, Sarah Daley, and Alexandra Garrett had the other Royal Comet goals. Rush-Henrietta will play Fairport in the semifinals.

No. 1 PITTSFORD SUTHERLAND (14-1-2) 4
David Adeleke-Adedoyin paced Sutherland with two goals as the Knights move on to the quarterfinals. Adeleke-Adedoyin scored in the fourth minute and the 60th minute. Will Leahy added a goal in the 12th minute, and Will Field capped the games scoring with one in the 65th. Sutherland will play the winner of Spencerport and Aquinas in the quarterfinals.

Matt Vergamini wanted to see his squad shrug off some late-season struggles. The 18th-year head coach of Greece Arcadia boys’ soccer received his wish. Anthony DiMaggio netted a pair of goals, and the third-seeded Titans advanced to the Section V Class A quarter-finals with a 2-0 win over No. 14 Webster Thomas. READ MORE.
