The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) named Geneseo teammates Liv Raucci and Angel Bennett the PrestoSports Women’s Soccer Offensive and Defensive Athletes of the Week respectively.
Raucci scored three goals for the Knights in a 2-0 SUNYAC weekend against Potsdam and Plattsburgh. Against the Cardinals, she netted the game-winning double overtime goal with just 15 seconds left to play. In a 6-0 win against Potsdam, Raucci scored two goals.
Bennett went 2-0 in goal for Geneseo against Potsdam and Plattsburgh. In a shutout win against the Bears, she recorded four saves, and in a 2-1 double overtime win against the Cardinals she tallied another four saves for a .889 save percentage on the weekend.
