Rochester, NY – The SUNY Brockport women’s soccer team bounced back with a 4-0 win on the road against St. John Fisher on Saturday. The team’s record improves to 2-1-1 overall on the season.
Kayla Usborne played the full 90 minutes in net, making five saves on the way to a clean sheet.
Early on in the second half, Brockport would make it a 3-0 lead. After missing the first three games of the season, Kiley Longin was welcomed back to the pitch with an unassisted goal in the 56th minute.
With less than 12 minutes remaining in regulation, the Green and Gold would add an insurance goal from Brylie Hapeman to go up 4-0. It was Hapeman’s second of the day and the assist went to Ellen Walpole.
The Golden Eagles are back at home on Wednesday, September 15th when the host the Wolves from Keuka College. The action gets started at 4 pm for this non-conference match.
