Gavin Moore (Alfred State) paced a high-octane Orioles offense with four RBI to kick off their playoff run. Moore finished the game 2-for-3 with two runs scored to go along with a double. The Orioles jumped out to an 8-0 lead after two following a five-run second stanza. The home frame included five hits and three walks; the inning was highlighted by a Moore two-run double. The Orioles tacked on six runs in the fourth to put the game away on four hits and three errors.
Wilson Brauer started and got the win after four innings with seven strikeouts. Brauer allowed four runs (two earned) on two hits and three walks. Dan Bowman hurled two shutout innings in relief and gave up one hit. Devin Cannon closed the game with a perfect seventh inning. Trey Brown (UMass-Lowell) added three RBI alongside a 1-for-3 game with two runs scored. Nick Nealon (Niagara County CC), Nathan Yantz (Utica College), and Grant Rodriguez (Finger Lakes CC) all pitched in two RBI. Henry Juan ended 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored, and Max Countryman (Finger Lakes CC) went 3-for-3 with an RBI and two runs scored. The Orioles will play the Monarchs on Wednesday for a chance to reach Friday’s championship.
The Cardinals scored all four of their runs in the fourth inning. Jack Scanlon, Lucas Jackson (Onondaga CC), Keith VanDyne (Houghton), and Ben Beauchamp (Monroe CC) wall drove in a run during the frame. Jake Dockum collected two hits in three at-bats, and Jack Beauchamp had the only other hit for the Cardinals. The Cardinals will play the Ducks on Thursday.

Hayden Smith’s two-out, bases-clearing triple highlighted a five-run fourth as the Ducks rallied to avoid elimination. Trailing 2-0, Kenny Murphy (Finger Lakes CC) got the inning started with a leadoff single. Vic Alongi (Genesee CC) reached on a hit by pitch. One out later, Zach Carpin (Clarkson University) worked a walked to load the bases. After Devin Hicks reached on an error that brought home Murphy, Smith delivered with his first three-bagger of the season. Smith eventually scored on a wild pitch. Hicks added two more runs in the sixth with a single that plated Logan Martella-Tasick (Mercyhurst University). Dylan Mackenzie (SUNY Cortland) scored the other run in the inning when Jordan Maher (SUNY Fredonia) drew a bases-loaded walk. The Ducks tacked on their final run of the game in the seventh when Ryan Davis scored on a wild pitch.
Josh Van Bramer (Alfred State) earned the win for the Ducks with a complete game. The left-hander allowed four runs on five hits and four walks while striking out 10. Hicks ended 1-for-3 with two RBI and a run scored, and Murphy went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored from the leadoff spot. Davis and Martella-Tasick both added a hit. The Ducks will square off against the Cardinals on Thursday.
Tyler Curtis (Finger Lakes CC) and Tyler Holmes (Hartford) led the Blue Jays offense with two RBI each. Curtis went 1-for-2 and Holmes went 1-for-3. Jose Morales (Utica College), Nolan Hicks, and Trevor Zewan (Genesee CC) all added a hit.
