How they got here: Avon beat No. 14 Perry, 7-4, in the pre-quarterfinals and defeated No. 6 East Rochester, 18-4, in the quarterfinals before downing second-seeded Red Jacket, 16-0, in the semis.
Addison defeated No. 12 Marcus Whitman, 14-1, in the pre-quarterfinals, beat Sodus by a 9-1 score in the quarterfinals and took down Gananda, 12-0, in the semis.

History 101: Avon is seeking its first sectional title since 2018 when the Braves defeated Gananda, 6-0, to win Class C1. Avon is seeking its fifth sectional title since 2014. The Braves defeated Kendall in 2014 in the Class CC championship, beat Sodus 2-1 in 2016 for the Class C1 title, and finished off Campbell-Savona, 2-1, for the Class C2 title in 2017. Addison is making its first sectional final appearance in eight years. The Knights lost their last appearance in a title game against Mynderse, 20-4, in the 2-013 Class CCC final.
First pitch is scheduled for Tuesday, 5 p.m. at Avon High School.
